I’m looking up here and I see the name of my Senator, and they will be hearing from me!!!!!!
I sent a warning to mine, Bob Casey (PA) and told him it was not a threat. I’ve noticed his blue-dog proclivity.
And PA just elected Pat Toomey. Maybe a blue dog is the best Dem one could expect from Pa.
What’s the alternative? If you can primary them out and ensure that new Dem would be elected, then sign me up. Also President Obama said he would veto it anyways so quite possibly they were freed up to vote for it. I notice a helluva lot of Senators up in 2012 on that list - likely something they didn’t want to get attacked on that they new wouldn’t matter given the veto threat.
I’ll be signing that.. Conrad is my senator, although I’m disgusted to say so. He’s so beholding to Big Oil in this state, that I’m in no way surprised by his vote. Thank you Dorothy.
