President Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron visited a local school in London to play table tennis and review several school design projects, including one the students called “Dish Dash” - a carryout box that folds out into a bowl or plate and then back again.
When a teacher suggested that the students needed an investor and offered a British name, the president had a different idea.
“Or Donald Trump in the U.S. I have a connection with him,” Obama said, gesturing with his two fingers as if to say he and Trump, his one-time nemesis, see eye-to-eye.

Totally OT: Was just watching Hardball and Cornel West makes me want to grab him by the collar and SMACK him HARD. He wrote an Op Ed for Truth Net or Truth Daily in which he verbally lambasted PBO. He called him spineless, weak and that he lacks a backbone. He said that POTUS is a puppet for the corporate plutocracy. He said that POTUS is a willing participant in a messed up oligarchy. He said that POTUS has abandoned poor unhealthy children. The backlash has already begun. A lot of people have criticized him with harsh words including Rev. Al Sharpton and Jonathan Capehart on Hardball. Chris was like what the heck is wrong with this dude.
When PBO passed healthcare it benefited EVERYONE. When he passed financial and credit card reform it benefited EVERYONE. He passed SCHIP.. another type of CHIP that gives health insurance to lots of children. What the HELL has Cornel West done these past two years?
Cornell West did the same thing on the Ed show a couple of weeks ago, and Melissa Harris wrote an op-ed and lambasted him. Didn’t he get the memo from Tavis Smiley? He is alienating himself. I use to like him; now, not so much.
Old Mr. Cornel West seems to be starving for attention.. I guess he thinks the more insane he gets, POTUS will actually give him that attention. Wouldn’t bet the house on it Corney, methinks Mr. President is somewhat busy for your reindeer games. Everytime I read the word Oligarchy, I think Glenn Beck. Maybe he and Cornel West could do a road show.
You forget to add that Cornell West was miffed that the President did not return his many phone calls and that he did not get a ticket to the inauguration and had to watch it in his hotel room while the bell boy at the hotel had a ticket!!!

Hi sherijr, the President and Cameron had a a joint op-ed in the UK Times about the relationship between the UK and US. You have to pay to read stuff on the Times site - but seeing as it has the same owner as Fox, Rupert Murdoch, they’re getting no money from me!

so do not fret my dear. I do not recall a President ever writing opeds the POTUS does.. he has done many over the years and I am so impressed by this.
