Their love makes you want to fully believe in that kind of respect and friendship for each other. I would walk to the ends of the earth to find that for sure.
I think the deep friendship is what moves me the most. I love the heat of romance and chemical attraction — it’s clear they are attracted to each other in that way. However, it’s even more impressive to me that they have a full respect for each other as friends and that they truly like each other. That is, perhaps, a rarer dynamic to sustain. It’s beautiful when you see couples that have that dimension to their relationship.
They make you want to pull the one that you love so close to your heart and look into his/her eyes and really tell him/her how much you really do love, appreciate, and respect him/her. They show us how beautiful friendship and love can be when you have that deep friendship, honor, and respect for each other.

That “touched by fire” language, which PBO said he took from Oliver Wendell Holmes, is extremely beautiful and poignant. It takes your breath away. I also love how he has continually (including in this speech) referred to these military servants as the “9/11 Generation” that stands just as tall and deserves just as much honor as the WWII generation.
What a piercing speech for these patriots to take with them. We are blessed by their service. We are blessed that they have such a thoughtful leader. We are blessed that he is a stateman — able to use words to encourage, calm, inspire. He embodies what it means to be a real Commander in Chief.
He gets airtime because he is guaranteed to say something negative toward the President or his administration. They play Dems like a fiddle. It’s all so obvious.

Washington State Ferries, owned and operated by the state transportation department, is the largest ferry service in the United States and third largest in the world. Twenty-two ferries transport 11 million passengers from the mainland and larger islands across the Puget Sound each year at a cost of 18 million gallons of diesel fuel.
In 2009, Washington’s transportation department concluded a five-year pilot program that determined biodiesel fuel blends — soy-based biodiesel blended with petroleum diesel — to be a viable fuel source for normal operations in any weather condition. Today, thanks to a $165,000 Recovery Act loan through the State Energy Program, the ferries run on a blended biodiesel fuel that will prevent over 65 million pounds of carbon dioxide from being emitted into the environment each year.
The pilot program proved the viability of the fuel, but there was still a kink in the biodiesel supply chain. Traditionally, the blending process needs to be performed in a specialized facility and then transported to customers, which is costly in time and resources. Instead, biodiesel producer Whole Energy Corporation installed a system with the State Energy Program loan to blend biodiesel with petroleum-based diesel on distribution trucks.

I just signed on, read TOD and used the C-SPAN link to watch the First Lady and President speak at Ft. Bragg. All I can say is my usual comment after one of his speeches. Wow. Wow. WOW! Both of them were so loving and supportive of the troops. And I loved how the President brought them support from all sides from their individual appreciation to America’s, to small businesses lining up to help, to a comment from an Iraqi leader. I loved how he brought them into perspective with patriots fighting from the beginning of this country through all of the wars. He was so supportive and Inspiring. Both of them were. They are doing so much, not only in words, but in deeds. I love to hear the roar of the crowds, too. I remember standing in the streets of a small town in Southern Indiana watching the convoys of National Guards that were being sent to Iraq when the war began and here we are now — it’s over. And he’s been so instrumental in this being orderly and as supportive of the Iraqi people as possible.
He is getting more gray hair. It comes with the job. However, his getting older is to be expected, but really it is how well one wears the numbers. I would say that POB wears his numbers very, very, well.
He is tired and some days it shows, but who wouldn’t be tired dealing with those disrespectful, hateful, and obstructionists daily. Those fools are enough to wear anyone out. That is why I am so elated that he has friends who make him laugh, a beautiful wife who make him peaceful, and two beautiful daughters to shower him with so much love daily.

Thought that it was so professional and so very polite for him to do such. It shows also that he has a great respect for his boss as well as our First Lady. I also believe that POB and the First Lady also treat the SS with respect as well. It is a part of his DNA and hers.
So, our POTUS and FLOTUS give off great loving and respectful energy to others and it does return to them.. I was so happy to see it because it shows that this gentleman takes pride in what he is assigned to do, protect the President at all times. That was a very emotional speech for POB and for the First Lady. I am sure that most of the SS who are around POB and FLOTUS can read them so well that they know when the burden is so very heavy and high with emotions, that they probably go into automatic high alert with every move that POB and FLOTUS make.

I just signed on, read TOD and used the C-SPAN link to watch the First Lady and President speak at Ft. Bragg. All I can say is my usual comment after one of his speeches. Wow. Wow. WOW! Both of them were so loving and supportive of the troops. And I loved how the President brought them support from all sides from their individual appreciation to America’s, to small businesses lining up to help, to a comment from an Iraqi leader. I loved how he brought them into perspective with patriots fighting from the beginning of this country through all of the wars. He was so supportive and Inspiring. Both of them were. They are doing so much, not only in words, but in deeds. I love to hear the roar of the crowds, too. I remember standing in the streets of a small town in Southern Indiana watching the convoys of National Guards that were being sent to Iraq when the war began and here we are now — it’s over. And he’s been so instrumental in this being orderly and as supportive of the Iraqi people as possible.
I just love President Obama and the First Lady.

To the Gingrich apologists on here, exactly what work ethic does Newt have? Apart from the pure grifter life he has led, selling political access, scamming wingnut rubes, feeding at the government trough, have you taken a close look at his so called academic track record? I have and his rise to power is the most crystallizing insight into white mediocrity ALWAYS fast tracked to unearned prominence.

Thought that it was so professional and so very polite for him to do such. It shows also that he has a great respect for his boss as well as our First Lady. I also believe that POB and the First Lady also treat the SS with respect as well. It is a part of his DNA and hers.
So, our POTUS and FLOTUS give off great loving and respectful energy to others and it does return to them.. I was so happy to see it because it shows that this gentleman takes pride in what he is assigned to do, protect the President at all times. That was a very emotional speech for POB and for the First Lady. I am sure that most of the SS who are around POB and FLOTUS can read them so well that they know when the burden is so very heavy and high with emotions, that they probably go into automatic high alert with every move that POB and FLOTUS make.
I just thank all of his SS detail who put their lives on the line for a great human being who is our wonderful POTUS.
