The President reaches the top of the platform stairs on the way out, turn to witness the scene on the mall again and says to that family around him: “Let’s take one last look. We’re not going to see this again.” Always in the moment. Always!
Yes, I loved it loved it loved it when he did that.
I am so happy that he was enjoying the moment.
It’s quite instructive, isn’t it? there he is, just been inaugurated a second time,
and he’s appreciating the view of the peoples. awesome.
He was riveting. I had already hit mute, so all the energy he was expressing was tangible, sans being talked over my those in the know! He was looking at his people. We The People. (even though I was at home in Seattle, I was there in spirit!)
The last one or the one before…toward the end of the thread…he said thank you to Chips and all of us…and said goodbye. My heart hurts….he needs to be here for 4 more!!
What a great day. What a great achievement by saner voices. And what an awesome ride it has been.
I thank you all TOD’ers for your unwavering commitment to PBO / JB team and making it all happen (and for putting up with my lame jokes).
I thank our blog empress Chips for her tireless job of supporting, defending and promoting PBO and his ideals and doing it all with a fine sense of humor thereby raising our collective spirits and hopes. TOD is and will always be my most favorite blog and Chips, my most favorite blog hostess.
With my heartfelt best wishes for a great, historic and an awesome second Obama Presidency, I bid you all good bye with a pardonable proud sense of accomplishment.
He mentioned a while ago that once PBO was re-elected he was going to give up visiting blogs and get on with his life, so I don’t know if that’s what he meant with this message. I hope not. Would miss the fella.
President Obama has covered all the bases. The agenda is powerful !! This is why we had to have four more years! The groundwork was laid and WE the PEOPLE answered the challenge.
President Obama signing official documents, saying he is proclaiming “peace on earth, good will toward men”. Says he is signing nominating papers for all the cabinet positions, knows they will be dealt with with great dispatch. Everyone kinda chuckled at that.
Wow Rachel Maddow was reporting interesting facts about the Obama’s, and she said that “Sasha” Obama’s real name is actually Natasha. LOL I never knew that. I wonder how they got Sasha from Natasha.
I did know that. I have always wondered why they don’t use her given name. perhaps she could only say Sasha as a baby and it stuck? I chose to stay with the silence of CSpan
I watched C-Span in real time and now am repeating it all with my tivoed MSNBC that way I can see it without the talk overs then see what was said afterwards.
Congrats to TOD and chips today, this has to be happiest little corner on the internet today.
I was thinking about all ways that PBO has stood up us in the face of constant critcism, hatred and ignorance from those so called patriots, and it just makes me feel even better about what we have been able to accomplish over the last 4years.
Enjoy the day! cheers to PBO and 4 more historic years to come.
harry wanted to take a pen, but Chuck called him out, and so PBO gave Harry his pen so Harry could have one!!! hahahahaha!!! Good ol’ Harry, I wouldn’t have asked to take the pen, I’d have just stolen it!
Chips, you are ON IT, Girlfriend! I don’t know how you manage to keep up with all this fast-moving history and make sure we’re in the loop so quickly. You are a NATIONAL TREASURE!! Thank you SO much! {{{{{{{{{{Chipsticks-BlogQueenExcelsia}}}}}}}}}}
Was cousin Henry at the inauguration? I’m still teary-eyed behind President Obama’s speech..WE, the people…inspiring. He put folks on notice and I love it. This is what all of us fought, canvassed, donated, phonebanked and worked for. Congrats TOD family, congrats.
Sen Harry Reid wanted on of the signature pens, President Obama said “I’ll get you one later”, then he reached into his suite jacked and gave Sen Reid the pen he was carrying! I hope he remembers to pick up another one along the way :-)
Thanks for posting the speech, Chips . I need to listen to it again, and then read it. It was just too powerful to absorb all at once. I feel so fortunate to have lived long enough to witness this! Pretty soon the inaugural luncheon.
Well, that was quite a moment. Bittersweet because this is the last time we will see him taking the oath and speaking so inspiringly to the American people. Yes he will speak again, but there is something special about an inaugural address. I could use one phrase to describe the speech it is “Velvet glove holding a sledge hammer.” He made it very clear what is priorities are and what he will not do. He will not sacrifice the elderly, the sick, the disadvantaged. He will continue to work for the future of all Americans, even those who may despise him.
I very deliberately avoided having any expectations for this speech. Well, I can say now that no matter high those expectations may have been, he exceeded them.
I agree. The event was simply flawless. That speech, that speech. The poem, the songs, the prayers. I may need to take a nap…this has been quite overwhelming day.
I too loved every minute but the SPEECH, We the People was amazing. I love the way PBO weaves history into his speeches. Recall his A More Perfect Union speech. I used to watch that one over and over again. PBO is just amazing.
Of Richard Blanco, today’s Poet Laureate, C-SPAN is reporting, he is the youngest to recite a poem at the Presidential Inauguration.
He’s also the First Immigrant, First Hispanic, and First Gay Poet to do so.
When C-Span announced the were having callers I quit watching live tv since I did not want to hear the GOP talking points. Now I am watching my TiVo version with MSNBC.
So proud of my president; so full. Still processing everything. So touching when he paused and looked out and said he wanted to see it one more time that it was the last time that he would see this (the crowd on the mall).
A caller on CSPAN just called out fauxspews. Said that for all the talk of coming together and bipartisanship fox has been spending all their time tearing apart everything PBO’s said and everything that is happening. Says their goes bipartisanship. It was great!
poor things must be feeling so irrelevant after 4 solid years of trying to prevent this day from happening. I would pause for them for a moment except I really just don’t give a damn anymore. They used up all my caring. LOL
I am listening to cspan and a person just said he should have said something about bipartisanhip. This President has been more bipartisan and than anyone. Its the repubs that wont give.
To put that in a little context, right before C-Span showed John Legend at the Inaugural Luncheon, they showed Newt and his wife getting into the back of a limo, leaving the building. #ICannotStopLaughing
Am watching my TiVo rerun and Rachel just told her story of being in a DC hotel with Susan and suddenly John Legend ran in and took over for the piano player to play a song for his girlfriend. Susan apparently thought Rachel had arranged it.
Waugh Chipsticks! it is very hard to keep up with You to day - thank You for a great day, if it has not been for You, I would have been in a “news desert”

I think the only thing that could make him cry at lunch is if his wine glass didn’t get refilled fast enough. But you never know—-if he begins to think about his own life story again, from sweeping floors in the bar to schlepping around on the hill, he may be so overcome by himself, he may begin to boo hoo mid lunchy. Hope Michelle has a napkin handy to shield herself.
Frankly I’m getting pissed that he’s talked about everything under the sun but the fact that we had a great candidate with a loyal following, that won a hard fought battle, with little support from that body, that made it possible for him to be up there today basking in the glory of a celebrating nation. Like Christie speaking during rethug convention
Enjoyed Chucks speech.
Nice shout-out to Hillary for loaning the Ferdinand Richardt painting of Niagra Falls from the State Department as a backdrop for the luncheon.
Did you guys see the black lady with the braids that PBO kissed right before he finally got to seat down? She is Auma Obama, his sister. Isn’t that awesome!! She must be so proud of her younger brother!!
I gave up trying to keep up with quick finger Chips. So now that I’ve arrived at what I think is the most current thread, I must say, ‘how bout our 1st and 2nd families? Might I also add that Sen Schumer is doing an outstanding job as event organizer. His luncheon speech is so very inclusive and on point.
Okay, not to be presumptuous, but as the mother of a son, I’m thinking President Obama’s mother would want him to be reminded of this, today:
If
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build’em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
Rudyard Kipling
P.S. And you’ll be a President, our son!
What a beautiful yet true poem and one to live by. You have imparted exceptional wisdom to your son. I can only imagine President Obama’s mother, grandmother, and grandfather along with Mr. Robinson, looking down on their children with much pride. I know they feel their support and pride each and every day.
I had Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If” framed and on the wall in my then-young son’s bedroom. He’s 43 now - I’ll have to ask him if he remembers it! (He does write a little poetry, himself, so maybe … )
Today is not a day of politics and I’m so happy that everyone seems to have set their differences aside for this momentous occasion. They are rubbing elbows and breaking bread together. They had coffee together this morning at PBO’s invite. The wives worked together on the inaugural committees. What a great start to what will be a wonderfully fulfilling second term. The change has already started, the voices of the naysayers will be minimized to a whisper. We must take PBO’s lead and move FORWARD with his 2nd term agenda. It will not matter what the talking heads say, PBO said we are going to get it done, with or without the folks who are determined to try and slow us down.
Everything was so lovely and so rich in history. We must understand who we were and are to be able to move forward to make ourselves and our country anew as we strive to make our union more perfect. I am even more proud to be an American.
Just saw a clip of when PBO paused as he was leaving the ceremony, to take one last look at the inaugural crowd for one last time, Pete Souza rushed in to take Obama’s last view, to record it for all of history.
Yes, he stopped to say he wanted to take in the view because this will be his last time. He lingered there a few moments and took it all in. What a wonderful and sentimental moment for him.
UT, if you’re still here, I responded to you about amk @26…..Chips has been on fire today with this inauguration coverage (Thanks, Chips!!) so I’m just guessing on the correct thread. It won’t be too hard to find. It’s toward the end
Okay, MAJOR NON-OBAMA NEWS: U2 is working on TWO albums with producer Danger Mouse!! Squee!! One should be released in September, with the other one shortly thereafter.
The President reaches the top of the platform stairs on the way out, turn to witness the scene on the mall again and says to that family around him: “Let’s take one last look. We’re not going to see this again.” Always in the moment. Always!
I love My President!
He was checking out that darn enthiasm gap! Gosh darn it!
“Always in the moment. Always!”
So true, Dudette!!! Congrats on 1st!!
#FORWARD
Thanks Bob!
Yep. I watched him watching. That’s what it is Dudette. Always in the moment.
Yes, I loved it loved it loved it when he did that.
I am so happy that he was enjoying the moment.

So true that is how he lives and you can see it in his eyes when he talk and interact with us.
Thank you Chips your coverage has been great. Swift but inclusive. Now to try and read all the post while they are eating.
Glorious day!
Jazz I love your blue butterfly. A beautiful symbol.
Oops forgot my caterpillar. 🐛
Indeed…
President Carter looks great for 88…
Oh Chips, thank you for this wonderful place
WOW!….the most moving inguration I have ever seen….not to take anything away from the last but WOW
I know, kat. I’m still shaking and about to run out of Kleenex.
Woo-hoo!
Chips…we need to have an intervention for amk! ASAP. He said goodbye to us…that is NOT ok :(
I just went back and read his post. He cant leave. He is a part of this family.
I know! He said a little while back that he was leaving us after this inauguration…..I was hoping the jokester was just joking.
What thread did he say this?
Maybe he meant good nite?
no. sounded more permanent than that..
I agree…
If we have to kidnap and hold amk hostage, then we must…
seriously!
What thread did he say this?
The last one or the one before…toward the end of the thread…he said thank you to Chips and all of us…and said goodbye. My heart hurts….he needs to be here for 4 more!!
Here it is UT:

Chips, you rock. thank you SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART :)
Macon!!
Love the overhead view as the President and the Vice President cross through the Capital Rotunda! Awesome!!
I will be watching his speech over and over again. Phenomenal.
Indeed. I will buy the DVD as soon as it comes out. Meanwhile, I will watch my DVR’d version from CSPAN.
President Obama has covered all the bases. The agenda is powerful !! This is why we had to have four more years! The groundwork was laid and WE the PEOPLE answered the challenge.
WE AND HE are the ones we’ve been waiting for!!
I can’t wait to buy the dvd of this event. It is one for the ages. We have so much to be thankful for.
What was up with Lupe Fiasco? It seems like he’s attacking the president every chance he gets now.
Who’s he…
Bill signing ceremony! OMG! That was funny!
I want to be Nancy Smash at this very moment!
I LOVE MY PRESIDENT!
Did I say that already? :-)
Never can be too much. i, too, Love My President.
President Obama signing official documents, saying he is proclaiming “peace on earth, good will toward men”. Says he is signing nominating papers for all the cabinet positions, knows they will be dealt with with great dispatch. Everyone kinda chuckled at that.
Loved the ‘with great dispatch’ comment!
Well that was interesting. I wonder if the repubs will hold those nominations up.
Watching the President execute signing statements and start more nominations !! Back to the business of LEADING!!
Wow Rachel Maddow was reporting interesting facts about the Obama’s, and she said that “Sasha” Obama’s real name is actually Natasha. LOL I never knew that. I wonder how they got Sasha from Natasha.
I wonder if when Malia was young, she could not say “Natasha” and it became Sasha. I know that heppens sometmes with an older sibling and it sticks!
Now I see that kathryn kivett says the same thing below! Great minds.
Probably b/c Malia couldn’t pronouce Natasha
I did know that. I have always wondered why they don’t use her given name. perhaps she could only say Sasha as a baby and it stuck? I chose to stay with the silence of CSpan
I watched C-Span in real time and now am repeating it all with my tivoed MSNBC that way I can see it without the talk overs then see what was said afterwards.
Sasha’s a classic nickname for Natasha.
Chips, if you can a vid of Bill Signing, that was a hoot!
harry wanted to take a pen, but Chuck called him out, and so PBO gave Harry his pen so Harry could have one!!! hahahahaha!!! Good ol’ Harry, I wouldn’t have asked to take the pen, I’d have just stolen it!
He must’ve forgotten this wasn’t Las Vegas! What stays … etc.
Chips, you are ON IT, Girlfriend! I don’t know how you manage to keep up with all this fast-moving history and make sure we’re in the loop so quickly. You are a NATIONAL TREASURE!! Thank you SO much! {{{{{{{{{{Chipsticks-BlogQueenExcelsia}}}}}}}}}}

Sweet LadyChips and all you wonderful TOD folks………Thank You For This Wonderful Place!!
Sen Harry Reid wanted on of the signature pens, President Obama said “I’ll get you one later”, then he reached into his suite jacked and gave Sen Reid the pen he was carrying! I hope he remembers to pick up another one along the way :-)
Bless the President of the United Staes, Barack Hussein Obama and his family. Bless the Vice President Joe Biden and his family.
Thanks for posting the speech, Chips . I need to listen to it again, and then read it. It was just too powerful to absorb all at once. I feel so fortunate to have lived long enough to witness this! Pretty soon the inaugural luncheon.
He just signed for the nominations for his choices for Secretaries.
😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭 can’t speak, just copy and paste.
^^^this^^^^
You speak for me, japa. Exceeded beyond my wildest dreams. Hope and change personified, imho.
Very good but I prefer an iron gauntlet in a velvet glove myself. :-D
Yeah, never very good with metaphors.
Yours wasn’t bad now. So don’t get me wrong. I may have to use it sometimes. If you don’t mind?
Looks like you may get your wish, yardarm. (It’s the roll of nickels inside the velvet glove that’ll hurt ya)’
Hmm. You sound like one of the “Good Fella’s” or one of those ‘enforcers’. How many knee caps have you busted, eh? :-D
Loved every moment of the ceremony. Everyone rose to the occasion, especially President Obama with that powerful, historic speech.
WASN’T THAT AWESOME!!
Of Richard Blanco, today’s Poet Laureate, C-SPAN is reporting, he is the youngest to recite a poem at the Presidential Inauguration.
He’s also the First Immigrant, First Hispanic, and First Gay Poet to do so.
I thought his poem was very moving and beautiful. Bravo!
Wonderful use of personification in his poem. I will enjoy sharing and analyzing the poem with my 12 th graders this week.
OMG!!!!! I just received an email from our new President!
“I just renewed my oath of office to serve as your president for four more years.
Thank you for making this possible. It’s an honor to be your president.
Now it’s time to finish what we started — let’s get going.
Barack”
I got the same one too :)
President Obama doesn’t miss a moment. If we are not engaged it’s no one’s fault but our own!
I had to check to make sure that I got one too. I’m such a geek. Yay!
Mine arrived too. I replied saying Thank You, Sir, and I walk beside you!
Got the same one too!!Yeahhhh!!
I thought President Obama delivered a speech that really represents the true content of his character. An all around great inauguration cermony.
So true, ran. I’m feeling more positive all the time.
So far most of the CSPAN callers seem to be very inspired by this Inauguration.
When C-Span announced the were having callers I quit watching live tv since I did not want to hear the GOP talking points. Now I am watching my TiVo version with MSNBC.
She was really terrific. I hope she’s performing more later at one of the balls?
Beyonce’ sang!
So proud of my president; so full. Still processing everything. So touching when he paused and looked out and said he wanted to see it one more time that it was the last time that he would see this (the crowd on the mall).
Kelly and Beyonce killed it.
Perfect day for Our wonderful President and his motivational speech.
Back now, hot chai tea, still on mute, still weeping in my joy!
I also love chai tea, Pamela! We are all weeping for joy today I think…. cheers!
A caller on CSPAN just called out fauxspews. Said that for all the talk of coming together and bipartisanship fox has been spending all their time tearing apart everything PBO’s said and everything that is happening. Says their goes bipartisanship. It was great!
Then the repug idiot talking about Hilary’s glasses and benghazi nonesense.
poor things must be feeling so irrelevant after 4 solid years of trying to prevent this day from happening. I would pause for them for a moment except I really just don’t give a damn anymore. They used up all my caring. LOL
Saw President Jimmy Carter talking to Mr. waterloo.
Jimmy Carter looks great for 88!
I am listening to cspan and a person just said he should have said something about bipartisanhip. This President has been more bipartisan and than anyone. Its the repubs that wont give.
Funny how they never suggest that to the GOP?
That person hasn’t been paying attention the last 4 years. Unprecedented obstruction, one term Mitch, Jim DeMint and Waterloo. Any of it ring a bell?
a perfect day. all of it. every word. every moment. Looking forward to these next exciting 4 years.
Wouldn’t I love to be the proud caretaker of one of those fountain pens?! :)
Sorry to say it, but PBS Newshour did NOT do this justice.
C-SPAN must have had the only audio feed. The Soloist voice was GORGEOUS!!!
sorry, this comment was meant for the PBS video of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
Watching John Legend waiting to introduce his girlfriend/fiance’ (?) Chrissy to Hillary Clinton. So cute!
To put that in a little context, right before C-Span showed John Legend at the Inaugural Luncheon, they showed Newt and his wife getting into the back of a limo, leaving the building. #ICannotStopLaughing
Newt has no business being in that building anyway, IMHO. May he never return.
hahaha so glad he left. don’t want him poisoning the well of good will going on in our nation today.
He’s probably heading to another inauguration conspiracy meeting and has to pick up his hood on the way.
Far, far away from all the good will!
Very likely.
Am watching my TiVo rerun and Rachel just told her story of being in a DC hotel with Susan and suddenly John Legend ran in and took over for the piano player to play a song for his girlfriend. Susan apparently thought Rachel had arranged it.
Ha! Inaugural poet Richard Blanco had 3,648 followers on Twitter a couple of minutes ago. Let’s see how that climbs!
@rblancopoet
Hi All TODers!! Happy PBO 2nd Inauguration Day to you all, my friends!!
Hail, TW4O!
Kelly Clarkson and Beyone killed it!!! These two ladies have some serious pipes!!
Meant Beyonce!!
What time is the parade?

Ms Chips, this has been an EPIC day for you as well as PBO…. so many threads, so many live feeds, photos and links… THANK YOU again!!

Wonders indeed, LunarSea! :-)
I made the dessert with some slight amendments and it’s really delicious!!
Michelle changed —- I think. Anyways, I like that silvery dress.
She just removed the coat — I think. :) :)
Yep. It was a coat dress.
They’re announcing arrivals at luncheon on NBC—prematurely announced the Bidens, they’re there now—-there’s the POTUS and First Lady, sans coat, now with cardigan.
The text of the President’s address:

Ooh ooh, the SilverFox…. Looking fine also…
Oh no, poor Michelle. She has to sit by Rusty!
I hope his tears don’t get bronzer stains on the first lady’s dress.
I think the only thing that could make him cry at lunch is if his wine glass didn’t get refilled fast enough. Senator Schumer has done a great job as chair/mc.
Frankly I’m getting pissed that he’s talked about everything under the sun but the fact that we had a great candidate with a loyal following, that won a hard fought battle, with little support from that body, that made it possible for him to be up there today basking in the glory of a celebrating nation. But that’s just my take.
yes, Senator Schumer has done a very good job as chair/mc.
Can the cameras let the people eat their lunch in peace :)

They will after Schumer finishes speaking.
goofy comment placement—trying to reassure hf that cameras will let them eat and drink! in peace—-soon.
I’m watching on C-SPAN.
Enjoyed Chucks speech.
Nice shout-out to Hillary for loaning the Ferdinand Richardt painting of Niagra Falls from the State Department as a backdrop for the luncheon.
looking at Orange Julius watch the waiter pour the wine at the luncheon…LOL
Blah! Mrs. Boner is sitting by her husband.
Auma, Craig and his wife are sitting at the table with Nancy Smash and her husband. PBO had a kiss for his big sis when he came in.
Saw that Kiss for Auma too and posted it below! How awesome!
Nooooooo! Bonehead does NOT need tobe sitting by First Lady Obama!
And he does NOT need any wine, thank you very much.
or perhaps he needs the whole bottle… lol
I believe that he has already been tippling.
Rosa Parks is getting a statue in the hall later on this year
Clapping for MLK and Congressman John Lewis.
Did you guys see the black lady with the braids that PBO kissed right before he finally got to seat down? She is Auma Obama, his sister. Isn’t that awesome!! She must be so proud of her younger brother!!
Thanks for pointing that out. I thought she was a congress lady.
Neat! I missed that though. Maybe someone will be able to grab a photo of her to post here. [Hint, hint… oh great Blog Diva!]
I am in agreement. He is enjoying himself, and enjoyable to listen to!
Okay, not to be presumptuous, but as the mother of a son, I’m thinking President Obama’s mother would want him to be reminded of this, today:
If
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build’em up with worn-out tools;
You are a gift. This poem does speak to the moment. Bookmarked before I forget, jacqueline
You are, as well!
Today is the first time I have had warm feelings toward Senator Schumer
I think FLOTUS is absolutely stunning. Stunning. Stunning!
I got up early this morning so it’s time for me to have my 2nd breakfast (snack) while they are having lunch :D
Beautiful picture. http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2013/01/21/16626500-inauguration-day-in-times-square?lite

Thak you Chips…. You have my eternal gratitude. I shall name my second born after you be it boy or girl. hmmm ChipsticksinJA sound very sophisticated
I’m thinking that Michael Steele voted for PBO.
Me too.
The parade is supposed to start @ 2:30PM.
Yes, and what an appreciative act on his part. That he gets us, that he ~gets~ the wonder that we are
all a part of today.
I love how the crowd broke out into the “OBAMA” chant !
I adore Deval Patrick.
Meta, say more, please.
He was just on CBS talking about the day. He always circumspect and speaks with such dignity.
Me too. I say somewhere that he is retiring after his term is up. I really don’t want to see him go. He will leave a void.
Okay, this one’s getting long too, so: new post!

OT: I heard Beyonce is getting back with Destinys Child. Has anyone else heard that?
“Let’s take one last look. We’re not going to see this again.” Always in the moment. Always!
So true that is how he lives and you can see it in his eyes when he talk and interact with us.
Thank you Chips your coverage has been great. Swift but inclusive. Now to try and read all the post while they are eating.
