Tiger handled the questions really well. Like an adult. These idiots in the MSM just annoy the hell out of me.

Tiger does know how to handle the press; they hound him too. And ask him inconsequential things sometimes when he mostly wants to talk golf. He did a good job in this interview.

Tiger sincerely had a wonderful time and loves PBO.

I might be a completely freaky female, but I love Tiger. Wouldn’t ever approve of his, well, nocturnal activities when he was a married father, but I can’t but help contrast the media’s treatment of him and, say, Lance Armstrong, whose cheating didn’t just impact a family, but a globe-full of poor souls who actually believed in this fraud. And despite the enormous evidence that showed he was a fraud, the media just kept on building him up. By contrast, Tiger’s offenses were small enough.

I agree. One never knows, but he appears to have changed. He once said he got away from the Buddhist teachings his mother introduced him to, but he is not wearing it on his sleave. He was very charming and relaxed in the interview. We all love comeback stories.

Very true Chips. And Tiger went into therapy seeking help for his problems. I don’t know how things are for him in his personal life right now because he tries very hard to be private about that. I only hope it is improving. I hate that it did affect his golf game in a serious way and hope he recovers that too. I have had an easier time understanding it than my son for instance, but I think it is because at one time, my son revered Tiger and was hurt by the revelations. The press had fawned over Tiger, his every move, then some of them turned on him after the story broke, but they still wanted full access to him all the time much like they are about our President. Crazy.

    ‘in the same room’!!!

‘ Thirty Saudi women have taken seats in Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, for the first time in the conservative kingdom’s history, as they were sworn in before King Abdullah at his palace in the capital, Riyadh.

The women took their seats in the same room with their 130 male colleagues and were sworn in collectively, state television said on Tuesday.
    ~
On January 11, the king appointed the women, which include university graduates, human rights activists and two princesses, to the body, also known as the Saudi Consultative Council.

His decree marked a breakthrough in a kingdom that imposes stringent restrictions on women, with females banned from driving and denied the right to travel without the consent of a male guardian.

The monarch took the decisions following consultations with religious leaders in Saudi Arabia, which applies a strict version of Islamic law.

Abdullah has been carefully treading towards change, introducing municipal elections for the first time in 2005.

In 2011, he granted women the right to vote and run as candidates in the next local election, set for 2015, saying “we refuse to marginalise women’s role in Saudi society”. ‘

It wasn’t kind of fair, POTUS had Tiger Woods as his partner. The other two guys didn’t stand a chance. That’s like the President playing basketball and his partner is Lebron James or Kevin Durant and they are playing again Ron Kirk and that other guy. Those other guys might be good golfers, but hay that Tiger Woods. But I guess being President you get to chose who’s on your team. And everybody want to be on your team.

So after these four years POTUS keep practicing he can be a good golfer, maybe you could see him on some of those celebrity tournaments, but that’s four years from now.

      February 19, 2025 at 8:03 pm

Anniebella, there was no question who was going to be PBO’s partner.

      • 69 anniebella
        February 19, 2025 at 8:06 pm

I know. But I was just saying to make it alittle fairer they needed another golfer on Tiger scale.

Maybe next time Tiger will go against POTUS. Who would win?

            February 19, 2025 at 8:11 pm

I’m glad POTUS had the chance to work on his game, and then play golf with the great golfer Tiger Woods.

A terrific moment for POB and Tiger. I am so elated that it took place and that their privacy was played on POB’s and Tiger’s term. Keep doing what you are doing, Mr. President, and Tiger keep your heart always open to what your father taught you. HZ

    Congrats, BobFR, on #1.

And, The Lovely Plains (@daRiverZKind) always tweets such interesting info and links.

@Redistrict has matched 2010 Census Data with current Congressional CDs and has gleaned demographic stats for each. You can imagine what an arduous task this is (because of gerrymandering, it’s not just a matter of looking at counties or zip codes). Here’s his link to that info:

    Bottom line:

This video cracked me up because Tiger says that he and PBO were a golf team, and that they won.

What non-pro team would stand a chance against Tiger?

  20. February 19, 2025 at 8:04 pm

God, I love my job. That is all.

Well, I hope the cry babies in the media can now rest because the “national crisis” is over since we now have a first hand report of the “golf-game-of-the-century” from Tiger himself

    • 78 anniebella
      February 19, 2025 at 8:16 pm

No they will still be upset cause they didn’t get the chance to see the golf game, or they didn’t get the chance to talk to Tiger themselves.

        February 19, 2025 at 8:20 pm

But to me this pass week-end was all about POTUS taking a couple of days off to work on his golf game, then go play a round or two with Tiger Woods. But the stupid media has turn it into some fake phony controversy.
