I doubt it, Carol. He’s got an very motivated, young population that is absolutely insistent on rooting out corruption of any kind because they know that that is the only way they can advance to the quality of life they aspire and that was at the heart of Maidan.

My guess is that our President’s trip is playing havoc with a lot of entitled white folk’s holiday schedule (aka DC beltway MSM) who whine about everything under the sun, which is an unappealing and childish habit.
It looks like Ukraine has a clear winner. ;) Very glad to know that exit polls are very much a reliable tested way of collecting data. 2004 in US made a mockery of known data gathering electoral results.

President Obama’s goodness with the troops wipes me out! I love him and all of those young shiny faces in uniform, men and women, standing before him! And some in the crowd with older faces, as well, of course.

Their performance was simply incredible last Saturday night down in San Diego… It was also heartening to see a very diverse group of young aspiring dancers in the audience equally spellbound by the dancers. :smile:
The SS has really had to think and act out of the box to serve and protect the Obama family; a real family that lives real lives; a warm couple who believes in the power and the connection of touch. However, the SS serves joyfully. I have heard from people who would know that their details love them.

Reminds me of a display at the Smithsonian American history museum in DC that I saw when visiting in 1998 (can’t believe it was that long ago, LOL).
It was a heartfelt letter of love and desperation to see soldier, from the young fiancee of a soldier serving in Vietnam. The envelope was marked “Return To Sender” because the soldier died before receiving it.
Absolutely gut-wrenching (especially for us baby boomrs).
