I know exactly the kind of animal, beginning with a latter S, that I would like smack him with; except that the animal’s smell might end up on me. I hope one of these days we will have a brilliant lawyer who would successfully argue that Freedom of the Press, under the 1st Amendment, doesn’t cover fake and sensational press.

Who is this birther yahoo at yahoo? See she’s not fond of Carney either, and I’m guessing anyone or anything related to the Obama admin. I’m sick of these haters. Get lost, you lamebrain idiots. (wonder how much Obama hate she had to profess in order to get hired as a “WH reporter” by yahoo)

Wow, they Used President Obama……..Now US POTUS’ are Citizens.

So how is it that the same POTUS is not stopping in the COUNTRY of his Birth?

The 98% that are Caucasian that cover this president…….Subconsciously, Subliminally, a great many of them have issues. Hence their obsession about a trip to some nations in Africa. Why does a trip to Africa bother them so much? They obsess about cost. Yet they were Mute during other POTUS’ trips in the past.

No person of Color would have made that obvious Birtherism post.

Some weak-assed consolation they used his correct title while dredging up the same tired, racially-tinged attempts to de-legitimize his Presidency. The bastards! I’m so sick of that shit!

          June 22, 2013 at 2:46 am

You are not alone, Dudette! I can smell the stink of these racists bastards from miles away. You would think that by now they would have gotten over the fact that he is the President of the United States. I am sure the 65+ millions of us who voted for him want to see him treated with the same respect given to other Presidents before him. I don’t remember any other Presidents being asked to justify the expenses of their foreign trips; that includes Presidents who travelled to Africa. Or is Africa now no longer part of the world, thus necessitating President Obama to justify, to the satisfaction of the Washington DC press, why he is visiting there. May be the ignorant DC Press needs to be reminded that there are over a billion people in Africa. Not only that, but Africa is also an important customer for U.S. goods as well as an important source of U.S. raw materials, including oil. As far as I am concerned, the media’s questioning of President Obama’s trip to Africa is aimed at accomplishing two things: the denigration of the President by suggesting that he is wasting money and the denigration of the African continent, and its people, by suggesting that its not worthy of the expenditure of a Presidential visit. Poor fools, they still don’t know that Africa was the cradle of humanity. Nor are they aware that China, the second largest economy in the world, is investing heavily in Africa. I am glad the President selected three of the dynamic and transparently democratic countries in Africa to visit: Senegal, Tanzania, and South Africa. Just as I was so happy that he chose Ghana for his first visit as President, another emerging democratic country, and the first independent African country from European rule South of the Sahara.

Nena, no person of sense would have that statement. It’s just stupid. The president is leaving his country of birth and flying to the African continent, then returning to his country of birth when Marine one lands on the White House lawn. That’s just too much truth for some people to accept, so that have to lie.

“So while lawmakers from both parties are privately relying on the White House and its agencies to provide technical information to draft scores of amendments to the immigration bill, few Republicans are willing to admit it. Some are so eager to prove that the White House is not pulling the strings that their aides say the administration is not playing any role at all.” Pathetic…. If PBO is for it….GOP must be against it. WH just wants a bill…could care less who gets credit in my opinion….

he is so fantastic with his nonprofit work. truly above and beyond. and when he’s interacting with kids at his events, which he does often and at length, he’s so real with them. he’s somewhat obama-like in his ability to connect with them. i’ve gotten to like lebron more and more over time.

lebron has the tattoos and is just physically bigger and more intimidating than jordan, and i’d say jordan had more “model” looks so didn’t scare the suburb folks as much. wonder if that explains it? lebron is ahead of jordan’s records so far though.

yes!!! greenwald next! don’t worry about a martyr effect with either one, since they’re completely irrelevant. only people who are going to get worked about it are the firebaggers and alex jones/libertarian types, who already hate president obama with a passion now. even garden variety republicans wouldn’t care either, since they’ve invested so much into the “protecting america” theme that they’ll have to support this.

those who will freak, as they did about bradley manning too, are so far gone and filled with such obama-hate already, nothing will be different if snowdenwald are prosecuted. nail these idiots!!

Prayers Indeed! For me, Nelson Mandela has been one of the guiding stars that I’ve looked to for inspiration throughout my life. I was a mere sixteen years old when he was imprisoned and by the time he was released I was middle age. If I am not mistaken, President Obama was about three years when Nelson Mandela went to prison. President Mandela is such a strong man and I pray that he will once again pull through!

I remember this as if it were just yesterday! This is why I get so angry when people try to compare people like Edward Snowden with the heroes of the Civil Rights Struggles, Black and white, who sacrificed so much, including giving up their lives.

Yes, CEB, who’s behind him is the key to the whole mystery. Snowden never had the resources or contacts to act alone.

Indeed! So many young women lost their lives through illegal and unsafe abortions. I know this from a first had experience in my family. That’s why it’s stupid to argue that abortions started with Roe v. Wade. The only thing Roe v. Wade did was to make abortions safe and thus save the lives of women; and especially young women who still had a chance to go through wanted pregnancies.
