I sleep with the afternoon sun on my face. And I think to myself (as I’ve taught the great grandson to say when he closes his eyes and the sun shines on his face): Life is good.

I’d fill your gas tanks in the next 24 hours or so before the Brent/Crude futures go nuts……..only 15% of Iraqi production is in the North/W, but queue the netwrok news reporters standing in front of California gas stations telling the rest of the country gas is over $4/gallon…..giving cover for everyone else in the country/Big Oil a reason to jack prices up…. I got gas for $3.57 yesterday in Indianapolis……

I think it’s a pretty small group that is dazzled by her celebrity/royal status right now. Thinking people know that there’s a critical election in a few months. For that matter, I think most people are waiting to hear if she’s even planning to run, and what will make her a better candidate than some of the other candidates who might be running at the same time.
Regardless - we have to get through 2014 elections first. If she’s not talking about that in all these publicity tours, then she’s just a distraction.

Unlike some in blogosphere, I don’t insert my opinions either way. So there is no “turning”. I simply report and analyze.
The Chief’s only child, his daughter, had come of age. He needed to select a husband for her, so he called upon the mothers of the three most robust young men to bring him a pelt from a hunt. The son whose mother brought the best one would win his daughter’s hand in marriage and be next in line to become chief.
After a while the first squaw came to him with an impressively large buck hide. The chief was duly impressed and asked her to wait with him to see what the other two brought.
A little while later the second squaw arrived and presented the chief with a massive Kodiak bear hide. This really pleased the chief and her asked her to also sit with him and await the third squaw.
Some time later the third squaw arrived and surprised everyone by producing a hippopotamus hide. As soon as the chief laid eyes on it, he declared that the third squaw’s son would marry his daughter and inherit the chiefdom.
When the others asked him to explain, he looked at them with astonishment that they would even have to ask. He said:
“Everyone knows that, all by himself, the son of the squaw of the hippopotamus hide is equal to the sons of the squaws of the other two hides!”
That took me a minute - but really funny!
