Moooooooooorning tnmtngirl, moooooorning everyone!
Itâs rainy and dreary here, but Iâm alive and kicking and Barack Obama is still POTUS! :)
Reason enough to make me smile, even after two weeks of rain.
Good morning Chips & TOD

fun was had by all.
Morning, AMK. Sounds as if you had a frightening time-cyclones are no joke. I understand cleaning of jtp, but what is gahdun?

It was awful six hours. Now everything is calm. Frigginâ nature.
Geez, and I thought it was some kind of exotic plant. Glad you all got through it safely.
Too damn cold here this morning 33 degrees and it was 75 just 2 days ago. This has got to stop, now! ;) Happy brrr Monday, all ~ pining for summer already.

Good Morning, Everyone :)
Oh you mean President Obamaâs Job Act that the GOP wonât even bring to the floor for a vote.
Yep that one
Good Morning Chips and TOD.
timeline for what is happening in Missouri
Greg Grey Cloud composed a song to thank President Obama for Rejecting Keystone XL.
INDEED…NATIVE AMERICANS HAVE HAD THEIR LAND PLUNDERED BECAUSE OF THE WHITE MANâS GREED! THANK YOU ENERGIZER PBO!
This!
Morning. There must be some days that President Obama dreads getting up for. A day that includes Netanyahu has got to be one of them.
Ha! Heâll eat that fool for lunch and belch nutty-yahoo sprinkles.
Lunch, breakfast, brunch - whatever!
I was thinking that, too, but then I saw the body language in the photos. Seems to me that Nutty-yahoo has been called on the carpet. Professor President Obama is educating him on what does and does not happen when you insult and denigrate the people who provide you with money and protection.
Good West Coast morning Chipsticks & TOD family.
On Lifetime tonight at 8pm, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will appear on Lifetimeâs WOMEN OF HONOR special Tonight. Honoring remarkable military women.
Thanks bella!
Russia should be suspended from athletics competition, a World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) commission has recommended.
An independent Wada commission examined allegations that Russian athletes paid their own doping officials to supply banned substances and cover up tests, while the IAAF was implicated in covering up the abuse.

Why we canât have nice things…
Itâs too early to get engaged, especially given there is no much of competition.
I DONâT WANT TO THINK ABOUT PBO LEAVING…………………………………………..BBL………………….
For the current primary season, I think the lack of a credible and viable challenge is a problem. There are a lot of people on her side but sheâs going to basically cruise to the nomination, so many donât feel an URGENCY to get involved. That must change for the general and it wonât matter who the GOP nominee is because theyâre all insanely inadequate and crazy.
The lack of a challenge to Hillary is a problem. In 2007/08 we had 3 very credible candidates, PBO, Hillary, Edwards. it made the election exciting for everyone. I worry if Hillary cruises to the nomination, many voters will disengage, believing that she will just walk into the WH. The Clintons caused this problem themselves by clearing the field for her. It would have been nice to have a strong candidate, especially a woman, running against her.
LOL.
I did! Now people think I actually liked their tweets instead of just bookmarking them for later. :-D
The biggest hurdle for getting rid of the tax is figuring out how to replace the $87 billion in government revenue for the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The tax on high-cost insurance plans is at the heart of Obamaâs strategy to contain costs across the marketplace. Health officials and economists close to the law are dead set against abandoning the tax, which they argue should nudge employers and employees toward cheaper insurance plans with less waste.
******************************
I really donât understand this move unless theyâre just doing it to support Clinton. It not only creates an $86B hole, it undermines the long-term strategy for cost-containment trajectory.
I donât get it either
Itâs not about Clinton. Itâs about the unions, who use Cadillac insurance plans as an important means of compensation. They have been against these plans from Day One.
I have friends in Cadillac plans. My one friends gets an MRI every time she gets a sinus headache. I think everyone should have access to excellent health care, but itâs these kinds of abuses that perpetuate our broken for-profit health care system.
The party leadership is getting great pressure from the unions on this tax, threatening to withhold support. Understand, the tax only applies to the amount of the policy over the very high threshold already established - NOT on the entire cost of the policy. Here is a case where the unions are not helping find another solution to those of us who desperately need ACA to be adequately funded.
yup, the typical short sighted union belligerence of asking for the whole pie. Donât know why nancy and harry are pushing it.
Thanks for explaining this, 57.
Ben Carson, and the failure of black conservatives
Terrell Jermaine Starr
I was a 17-year-old teenager growing up on the west side of Detroit when I first read Ben Carsonâs biography Gifted Hands.
……………………………………………
In September during his tour of Ferguson, Missouri, where 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed by former police officer Darren Wilson, Carson said, “We need to de-emphasize race and emphasize respect for each other.” He added that he was raised to respect police and “never had any problem.”
This is Carsonâs M.O.
When Carson speaks to the mostly white audiences who support him, he positions himself as a black person who doesnât “complain” about racism. He argues that we need to move beyond having difficult discussions about race.
And his messaging during his campaign has been crystal clear: I am who I am because I worked hard, and that is the best way to overcome racism. If you are black and cannot succeed like me, he tells his mostly white audiences, then only you are to blame for your problems â not police brutality, an unfair criminal justice system, or racist hiring practices.
……………….
But Carson, the presidential candidate, doesnât tell his white supporters about the pitfalls he narrowly avoided; he only talks about the heroic leaps he took in avoiding them. When I read Gifted Hands nearly 18 years ago as a young teenager, I never envisioned Carson becoming a 21st century Nat Turner â but neither could I foresee him dismissing racial injustice entirely. The culmination of Carsonâs success, as I now know, was not designed to accommodate any sense of responsibility for those in the black community who didnât “make it.”
Instead, it is only tailored to assure white voters that they donât have to bear any of the racial baggage that comes with being black in America.

The White House plans to aggressively deploy President Barack Obama to rally Democrats to the polls for the 2016 election, particularly minority and young voters who are his strongest supporters.
His campaign work could be the difference between Democrats holding or losing the White House in 2016.
Iâm ready to roll with the President
I WILL ALWAYS BACK THIS PRESIDENT!..<3
amennnnnnnnnn
GOOD MORNING TOD FAMILY…AM PRAYING PBO HAS A GOOD MEETING WITH BIBI THIS MORNING…..AM OFF TO THE DENTISTâS THIS MORNING…TAKING TORTES…NOT LEGAL TORTES…YUMMY TORTES…I LOVE MY ENERGIZER PRESIDENT…BBL……………..
Good morning!(I think)

Thank you for the early birthday salute!
DMI….. :-)
I wasnât on-line yesterday. I went to the OFA summit in DC. I saw the President. Unfortunately, I didnât get to shake his hand. 4 of the six people from our core team did, though. So jealous! Happy Belated birthday! I hope you had a great day.
I would have LOVED to have been there. Been out of the OFA loop since Iâve been ill. Unfortunately, DelCo marches to their own drummer and after the election it was like pulling teeth to get folks to participate. I miss working with OFA…
Sorry you have been ill. Iâll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I really havenât done much myself this year with OFA or with this election. Many of the otherâs in my group were involved with the local election in Cherry Hill.
Morning Sailor!
Good morning Communications Officer. ;-)
YIKES!! :o
PBO commenting live on Jordan
LIVE HERE: http://abcnews.go.com/Live?stream=2
Thanks, Jer!
Damn, heâs letting bibi have a few words. To bibiâs credit, heâs sounding humble and conciliatory — probably trying to mitigate the ass chewing to come. PBOâs graciousness is so much more than that turd deserves…
Yeah, because Bibi, for all his awful comments about PBO, is happy to leave Washington with a check for “defense”.
I wish we would attach all kinds of strings to that check…
What a snake he is……..ugh!
Got that right sailor!
Love the kenyanâs vulcan stern look.
NUTENYAHOO is in the WH, hat in hand, begging for some more foreign aid. Heâs now a docile pos!
To hear him today, youâd never think he ever uttered a mumbling word against PBO!

Mizz U President is resigning!
I guess a brother can now get some food.
Thank goodness!
I was just about to say the Missouri basketball players should join the football players.
This wiped me out……
My goodness.
NY is not a cheap place to rent let alone raise a family.
Thanks Yardarm. This is a hard story with loads of heart and love.
I wish father and son the very best life has to offer.
