Bittersweet night, but I resolve to stay positive and enjoy every moment…I vow to engage in conversations with friends and strangers alike to share the goodness that this President has achieved…and to urge them to keep this amazing momentum and positive force for good and justice for all, moving forward!
I will register new voters, talk to everyone I meet, and spread the news of all we know to be true for this President’s actions over the last 7 years…I will not be sad. I will be engaged and informed…and looking for ways to spread the goodness to others. Who’s with me???!!!

I really doubt it. PBO is a very accomplished writer, so I think he’s really invested in every word.

I have C-SPAN on…mute. I’m not the least bit interested in anyone’s comments. I will turn sound on when POTUS comes. So tired of these self-important tinpot commentators…..Reps, Sens, infotaineers….etc. Not one of them is worth my eyes and ears.
Same here. I landed on MSNBC that had a polls on how angry the American people were. On both sides of the spectrum, the ANGRY crowd was above 50%. Nobody asked them what was that made them so angry. That would be too revealing for the pundits. They prefer to stop at the fact that there are a lot of angry people out there and, of course, it’s all presumably because of this POTUS.
Ok, here is pre-sotu quiz.

Way too many reasons to list, so I’ll just go with his intrinsic decency and integrity, and his infectious optimism and love of life. Just as I’d given up on ever finding a political leader to inspire me, along he came. Will love the fella forever, he is good to the core.

Just watched him and FLOTUS.
Few minutes ago on my home from a KCDP 5th district meeting, I put my radio on CNN. They did a short report on the Iranians having the sailors. The anchor brought in David Gergen. They both pointed out that an administration spokeswoman had just told them that the President had been briefed on the situation and also said that the President does not plan on addressing this tonight. David Gergen was AGAST. Went on and on about how any President mustr be honest with the American people, blah, blah. Focused on the Iran deal and how that is truly one of his major accomplishments, but if he doesn’t address this tonight, it will definitely be the wrong way to approach. Sure, David Gergen, you go ahead and question this master. Go ahead, do it! Fools! All of them.

Excited and a little nervous because I have a feeling that the repubs. are going to be especially ugly and have a plan to show out for the world to see. I hope whatever they do backfires on them. On the other hand, whatever they may try, PBO is quick with the comeback (as we saw last year). He is from the beginning to the end, the only adult in the room (with Joe at his back).
