How is it that the two white writers who wrote “Straight Outta Compton won, but no black people in the movie won?????
And how does Stallone wins but not the main actor nor the Director who both are black????

  5. January 14, 2016 at 8:50 pm

    Poor Jon😦

Is it a good or bad thing that I had no clue there was a GOP debate tonight😕

  6. January 14, 2016 at 8:54 pm

    Wow!
    What another terrific day!
What President slams his last SOTU speech while his wife glows like an “Orange Starburst.”
Who does that? Or who has ever done that?
He must knows and feels how much he is loved.
If it’s all possible, I am feeling good for him.
My heart is overwhelmed with joy…..
    Is it Christmas?

  7. January 14, 2016 at 8:57 pm

    Dudette, congratulations for being first.
NW, thank you for this fabulous post and great pics!
Merry Chirstmas to all. And to all a good night!

I am not watching it, but I turned on Rachel to see her interview with HRC and if I had not known, I would think that she is Bernie sanders campaign manager. She seems more like an advocate for Sanders.

Betsy, Rachel was acting like sanders’ campaign manager IMO.

I have no doubt. Rachel likes to support the “underdog”; She supported PBO until he became president, then she slowly started to go against him only occasionally showing support by listing his accomplishments. Her worst moments have been her lack of acknowledgement of PBO’s efforts re: gay marriage and repealing DADT; and her mocking of PBO during the oil spill in the Gulf. I stopped watching her after that, and I used to love and respect her.

        January 15, 2016 at 1:25 am

I did not like it when Rachel had her Junction Debunkshun portion fact checking PBO saying at his rally near Baton Rouge that he had been there in 2012 last. She said that was False. He had been eighty miles from there last time. WTH! How picky can she get? To most people going to another state would call any place within 100 miles as having been there before. He may have been referring to the state not the exact location when he said here.

Nerdy, this summary is glorious. Our President is so in his element on the road and so energized by connecting to real people. If this presidential trip was intended to get people fired up about the election and remind them what it means to be hopeful about the future, then it’s been a gigantic success.

that is true. My daughter is in 9th grade and watched the Republican debate. She looked at me and said incredulously…really?

It is my hope that the DEM candidates do just that!

      January 15, 2016 at 10:35 am

all the DNC has to do is create clips of ads, showing the questions asked at Republican debates and the ones asked at Democratic debates. For shits and giggles, maybe actually include an answer or two…but is a very easy way to show the choices. The sources are right there, would involve no work at all. Use the debates as the baseline to provide a simple contrast and that will clearly show the stark differences between the parties and their current crop of candidates. It would be a no brainer. The ads would practically write themselves.

worth repeating. lol Guess Wayne didn’t bank on being called a little b**ch and p****y by everybody because he couldn’t face POTUS at the town hall.
