Seems to me that caucus states attract people who make quick decisions based on emotions instead of facts. Hillary has been around a long time and is known, therefore people pretty much know already whether they would chose her or not. Even though Bernie has been around for a long time too no one much knew of him and his rebellious talk was fresh and exciting for people who make emotional decisions making him a bigger caucus draw.

2008….although the President has won enough delegates for the nomination…Hillary could have caused division and chaos at the convention…but what she did was join the President and encourage unity at the convention….iâm not sure what Sanders will do…because he is not a party loyalist or even a DEM…he has been running as a 3rd party candidate…using the DEM apparatus.
I think Bernieâs supporters would be for disruption - not sure about Bernie - will have to wait and see & hope he realises the need to defeat the GOP

Dear Dudette, I just wanted to say a huge thanks for the links to the NASA program on the return of Scott Kelly and the other two astronauts from the Space Station. This has been so fascinating. I remember watching John Glenn walk on the moon and then return to Earth by splashing down into the ocean. To think things have progressed so much that they can now land on land is remarkable.
So much more fun to watch and listen to this process than to listen to all the MSM trilobites commenting on Super Tuesday. Iâll look at all that craziness tomorrow.

In the “itâs really all about me” category … One of the coolest things I ever pulled off when I worked in public affairs for the Navy in Florida in the â90s was during a tour I was giving some out-of-towners through our labs, and - as part of the tour at the designated hour - I took them over to a wall of windows in the building, and said now we will watch the shuttle launch, which happens to be occurring during your visit (we sometimes had a good view from over on the Cape!). Needless to say, they were pretty surprised. (The end.)

OGrandmama, I read this article and emailed it to everyone I know. It should be retweeted to every voter and news outlet. Families should read this article out loud around the kitchen table. This explains NAZI Trump and Bernie in a nutshell. Americaâs underbelly has two choices: either a punitive or permissive paternalistic figure.
Now I understand how my two brothers can be how they are politically. We came from an authoritative family. My dad was in charge and we could only ask how high when he said jump, one of his sayings. He was loving, but that was how things were for many families in those days. I used to be the pleaser.
My thoughts are that is why many older Americans are Conservatives. Before reading the article I just thought older people had a harder time with change. Although change is part of the mix, authoritarianism encompasses it all. Having married, gone into teaching, moved away to have more Liberal friends I changed my preprogrammed views. My brothers did not. One brother is supporting Bernie now, but I could see him swing to Donald once Bernie is out cuz he has believed all of the conspiracy stories about the Clintons getting his first source of news from Drudge. I never understood why he was not consistent to his ideology. Now I get it based on his authoritative upbringing.
