57, I was just thinking about you!

Know that I am visualizing and will continue to imagine healing and comforting light around Pearl, seeing her intestines getting better and better and her health improving!

Thank you so much MadameSoph. I always feel your healing energy. It may be cancer for my dear little girl but I’m not dwelling on that. We adopted her when she was 7 years old. She had been a puppy mill breeder. She’s about 12 now. I just want to make her all better, she is the dearest little dog in the world. Thanks again.

I know how you feel about your dear little girl. We had a little cockapoo who had been a puppy mill breeder. How people can treat these precious babies this way is something I will never understand. I know she’s had five good years with you. We gave our little one three good years of care. It is a privilege.

Hi Faith, may a miracle heal Pearl. Everyone on TOD has fallen in love with your three dog kateers. Thank goodness her last years are with you.
Is Hubby okay after the car accident? My Hubby fell off a ladder Tuesday and he is in lots of pain. Nothing broken showed in regular X-rays but we asked for a cat scan and he has broken ribs in his back and the little bones on the side of his spine are broken. He has been up to walk but he can only manage a few steps. So much for having a nice yard to celebrate our 45th anniversary this fall. I’m glad he’s not dead. He may be released from hospital tomorrow. The dogs have not left my side. My “Bear” is at my feet and Sammy is snuggled close at my side.
I’m so glad Hillary won big Tuesday. I hate negative politics.

Oh, CarolMae! How absolutely awful!!! Sending healing and positive energy to Mr. CarolMae, and strength to you.

What is it with these men at their ages, crawling up on ladders?

The dogs “know” and share their unrestricted energy and love. You will all get through this.

Thank you for such beautiful words. I have to figure out how to post photos. I should post them to twitter, and then bring them here.

We’re coping. One step at a time.

I wish there was more I could do for you; but know that you are in my heart, my dear friend.

And HRC is going to be the next POTUS and build on PBO’s legacy! Yea!

“The Republican Party is poised to make this chimpanzee behaving con man their party’s official candidate for president. Conservatives appear unable to summon the moral fiber to just say no. They rationalize and pontificate that even if the poo flinging Trump does become president, they will be in control of the agenda going forward because after all Speaker Ryan has been assured by the flimflam man himself that the Ryan agenda is safe. Were similar promises also Trump’s message to New Jersey and Atlantic City politicians and investors when he was building his casinos there?”

At the end of his Presidency - no-one wanted GWB to campaign for them. Now EVERYONE wants PBO to campaign for them.

My big regret - only when he is leaving does the reality of what is being lost set in. He will be 75%+ in the ratings before he leaves. Trump is history as having the biggest losses since forever.

:) He needs to be that in more ways than one - I think he can lose Texas - not to mention all the purple states - he might keep a few southerners - will give Goldwater a run for the number of states lost.

And for the first time since 1998 there is a popular, scandal-free second-term incumbent president working hard on the campaign trail to preserve his legacy.

In a victory for both Speaker Paul Ryan and the White House, the House of Representatives Thursday passed a bill to resolve Puerto Rico’s $73 billion debt crisis, taking a major step toward helping the island avoid a historic default.

Support for the bill came from a mix of Republicans and Democrats, emblematic of the rare compromise struck between congressional Republicans and the Obama administration. Ryan lent significant political capital to fixing Puerto Rico’s debt crisis during negotiations for government funding in December, pledging to move legislation to address it in the first quarter of the year.

The bill passed by a 297-127 vote.

    /

Efforts to address Puerto Rico’s situation were complicated by a fight pitting a small group of Wall Street investors and their lobbyists against House Republicans when significant headwinds from investors opposed to the bill temporarily derailed it.

Over $2 million worth of television and radio ads run by the Center for Individual Freedom. The advocacy organization does not disclose its donors, but the ads are thought to have been paid for by a small collection of hedge funds that invested heavily in Puerto Rico’s $3.5 billion bond offering in 2014. It targeted Republican members of the House panel responsible for drafting the bill, accusing them of attempting to “bail out” Puerto Rico on the backs of taxpayers. The Congressional Budget Office has determined that the legislation will not increase federal spending.

Sanders has a great sense of humor. Right after leaving POTUS, he ran to Philadelphia to tell the 3k people in his rally (what has happened to the other 17,000 that should have been there?) that when he becomes president, he will stop the billionaires, the millionaires, the Wall Street minions, etc. etc., completely ignoring that HRC has won the Democratic nomination and has received POTUS’s awesome endorsement.

What a great sense of humor!

no. Rachel was pushing it and it was the way in which she asked Elizabeth Warren… she was basically saying Rendell said she was completely unqualified blah blah makeshift man undermining a woman who couldn’t possibly be qualified blah blah… and then she asked Elizabeth again if she believed she could be a VP so Warren obviously said, “Yes, I do”.
