Congratulations to Nancie McDermotts daughter Isabelle on graduating from Emory University this year. She’s a beautiful young woman with Nancies smile. ❤️

I’ve got $20. Anybody want to bet that #1 the plane that Comey mysteriously gets blown out of the sky by suspected terrorist (disguised as military jet under 45 control) #2 Comey’s mistresses come out of the woodwork #3 drug charges from years ago made him wholely unfit for the FBI or any of the other “Alternative Facts” that Bannon can make up and leak to his website. This will happen in 3…2…1.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer apparently has asked all Democratic Senators to be in their seats on the Senate floor at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, to face Sen. McConnell. Apparently, Schumer may ask for a special prosecutor to be appointed.

My guess is McConnell will go out for breakfast at 9:30.

      GE/GM JO’B.

Usually twitter slows down at this hour, but east coasters are still tweeting, after midnight local time.

Awhile ago I mentioned I was compiling info on Watergate, but now I need to find my notes… 😳

But I do remember this from my research:

My favorite thing I learned during my research is that Richard Kleindienst was born in Winslow, AZ — if you’ve ever been there, it’s kind of a sad town, which thrived during the railroad hey-day, but now not much there. It’s sad because they tout Jackson Browne/Eagle’s Take It Easy line (standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona…), and that song is more than 40 years old. 😦

First thing I thought of, when I saw Winslow, AZ - was that song! Just waking up and will say GM to you, as I continue reading!

I am concern, I was concern January 20th 2017. To be honest Trump is not just the problem, it’s Ryan, McConnell and the Republican Party who doesn’t have anyone who will put this country ahead of their party.

      • 40 Believe Again
        May 10, 2025 at 5:47 pm

Exactly! To still continue to think it is only Trump involved is self deception. Foreign agents are now in the highest offices of the United States and they mean to stay and consolidate power unless the people rise up and make them afraid. They do not care about votes at this point. They can hack machines and steal votes. The only one left to fear now are the people but they must wake up to this reality before it is too late. The US has never been here before, so it is not business as usual. The enemies are currently within the gates and in the highest offices of the land. In third world countries, this would usually have triggered a military coup!

I think his point is that Russia isn’t a problem if the US Government doesn’t ALLOW it to be.

We weren’t in crisis mode with Russia with PBO at the helm.

But now that ‘resident’ Trump is there letting Russia operate out of the Oval, it’s up to the other branches of the Government to stop it.

But we can’t trust that to happen with these treasonous, opportunistic Repubs in the majority in both houses.

“Regardless of how you think Director Comey handled the unprecedented complexities of the 2016 election cycle, the timing of this firing is very troubling. Jim Comey is an honorable public servant, and in the midst of a crisis of public trust that goes well beyond who you voted for in the presidential election, the loss of an honorable public servant is a loss for the nation. As the chairman of the Judiciary Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee, I have reached out to the Deputy Attorney General for clarity on his rationale for recommending this action.”

45 seriously thought that he would not get any backlash from firing Comey…especially from the Democrats, much less from any Republicans.

They thought that “avenging” HRC for the way Comey handled the email investigation would appease Democrats and he could get away with his cover-up.

Instead, it drew more unwanted attention and more questions about what he is trying to cover-up. This attempt to interfere with an investigation [further] raises cause for impeachment.

All these horror stories about passengers experiences with airlines makes me hope I don’t *have* to travel anywhere by air anytime soon — or ever.

“After explaining that I have an overactive bladder and would either need to use the restroom or pee in a cup, I was handed a cup by flight attendants,” Harper wrote.

In a report by The Root, American Airlines passenger Rane Baldwin, who is black, said she had her first-class ticket demoted on May due to supposed overbooking while her white friend’s ticket was not — and the allegedly poor treatment that ensued appears to Baldwin and her friend to be the work of racism.

Baldwin told The Root that despite upgrading two tickets for her and her friend Janet Novack, she was given a boarding pass with a seat at the back of the plane. After questioning the ticket agent, she was offered an explanation: that a “plane change” made for fewer first-class seats.

n a report by The Root, American Airlines passenger Rane Baldwin, who is black, said she had her first-class ticket demoted on May due to supposed overbooking while her white friend’s ticket was not — and the allegedly poor treatment that ensued appears to Baldwin and her friend to be the work of racism.

Upon boarding the flight, Baldwin said she was ignored by the flight attendant while Novack was not….

“As she asked questions, she was ignored. However, whenever I asked the same questions, I received thorough answers,”

Moreover, Novack added in the long tweet thread to American Airlines, “the whole reason that I was flying first class was because I was associated with her and her reservation. They were ignoring the card holder.”

Baldwin said she issued a complaint to American Airlines, but hasn’t yet gotten a response. Novack, on the other hand, got immediate responses from American Airlines after tweeting to them.

Women have spent so much time justifying their truths that they can sit in front of Congressional folks for hours - answering each and every insane accusation. Sally Yeates and Hilary Clinton were amazing. This makes democrats proud of them - it makes republicans insane and increases their attempts to take them out of public office.

METHANE is a greenhouse gas 25 times more potent than Carbon Dioxide.
Last month attorneys and governors from fossil fuel states asked Trump’s EPA director and climate denier Pruitt to stop collecting data on methane emissions at oil and gas operations. So now 15,000 oil and gas operators/producers no longer document their methane leaks.
