Now, as I recall, Graham’s record of election predictions isn’t exactly sterling. A week before the 2008 election, Graham was in North Carolina touting John McCain’s chances:
“McCain fits North Carolina like a glove…. I’ll beat Michael Phelps in swimming before Barack Obama wins North Carolina.”
A week later, Obama won North Carolina.

President Obama is trending 4th on Yahoo so far, so I clicked onto two “positive” articles about how he wants to tax millionaires, and his deficit reduction plan to keep him in the top trending. The articles are ok, a little less opinionated than others, but at least it might get some to think about how the President is for us not the GOP.
You would think that these yahoos would stop trying to second-guess our Beloved President. He is a master strategist and always one or more steps ahead of these idiots. Sometimes I wonder what goes on in those empty spaces between their ears and then I realize what I am dealing with. There are more for President Obama than against him and God has His Hand on him.

How many times have you heard someone say “Oh, I’m not that into politics”? This really drives me crazy because every aspect of our lives is impacted by “politics”. The amount of taxes you pay, the quality of schools in your neighborhood, the quality of the water and air, the amount of crime, the quality of transportation, homelessness, on and on. So when I saw the post below, it was just what the doctor ordered. The next time I hear someone say they are not that into politics or they didn’t vote in the 2010 midterms, I will ask for their email address and send them this post.

He calls for the youth to get involved and be aware of what is happening in the system. The Reverend’s book is titled Singing the Lord’s Song in a Strange Land.” This book is insightful, humorous and full of wisdom. He was the great chaplain who delivered the benediction on Barack’s inauguration.

That’s the fighting spirit I came here to be part of!! Thanks!! I woke up this morning listening to NPR as I got dressed as I cannot stand to listen to my local progressive stations news. I was greeted with a lot of negative Obama news this morning as if I were on a totally different station. It is amazing how your spirits can be pulled down listening to that spin. I am uplifted by coming here and reading the articles highlighted. It just tells me we will have to work that much harder as the average person may be affected in a much stronger way listening to the hype day in and day out.
Phew! You scared me Chips! I thought this was gonna be about something slick Michael Phelps said about PBO which really would have disappointed me because I’m a Phelps fan and, if I remember correctly, he’s the progressive sort. Glad to see it’s just more asshattery from Daisy Graham.

That statement “The Republicans to lose” is interesting. That statement usually means complacency, and if that’s what the Republicans feel, good.
