If I may add: Mr. Alfred Nobel must be smiling from ear to ear.
His invention of dynamite earned him a fortune, which changed the course of warfare.
Perhaps that is why he made a provision in his will for a prize to be given annually to promote peace.

President Barack H. Obama truly has earned this prize and is an honorable recipient despite all the opinions of the clueless naysayers.

I have been thinking of the foresight the Nobel committee had that awarded PBO with the prize at the beginning of his presidency. When it was awarded many were skeptical of its merit. PBO used the time in his speech to declare he would try to live up to the honor. I have been thinking about how he so deserves it and more for a few weeks now, but scared to mention it in case I jinxed any good results from happening.

The citizen with the placard called the Rs “demons” (quoting Maxine Waters!) and said his group will be holding an exorcism at Capitol Hill to drive out the demons who are “worse than the Navy Yard shooter.” He got the teabaggers to break up their lying briefing.

He is the smartest ‘Pub in the building. He will add to his coffers, keep himself in the spotlight, and laugh at his distinguished colleagues all the way to the bank. Then when he retires from government, he runs a think tank and manages his pac money, while he continues to lead what’s left of his party down the rabbit hole.

What is it about Obamacare that compels seemingly intelligent people to explode in bubbling spasms of stupid? Are they misinformed? Unable to see past the rage-fueled partisan sweat dripping into their eyes? Or just plain dishonest?

No matter. At this point, it has become obvious that history will look back on the four-year war on Obamacare as one of the saddest, most bizarre, and most dishonestly embarrassing episodes of our time. I have given up trying to understand the vehement opposition of so many who cannot offer up truthful reasons for their objections, and instead fuel the hatred and fears of the uninformed with the most illogical, mendacious, and fundamentally bizarre arguments that have ever been marshaled. By comparison, Joe McCarthy’s McCarthyistic McCarthyism was an exercise in reason.

President Obama spoke by phone with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani Friday, both leaders said, following Iranian media reports of the call.

The 15 minute phone call was initiated by Obama at 2:30pm Friday as Rouhani was in a car being driven to the airport on the last day of a four day trip to New York. The Iranians reached out today expressing interest in the call, the White House said. It came a day after Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met one on one for thirty minutes to jump start nuclear negotiations.

Obama, in the call, congratulated Rouhani on his election, and urged the two leaders to seize the opportunity for a nuclear deal, a senior White House official said Friday. A “breakthrough on the nuclear issue could open the door to a [more constructive] relationship between the US and Iran,” Obama said, the White House official summarized.

John Connelly was not watching when Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said his name during Cruz’s 21-hour marathon speech on the Senate floor earlier this week to rally fellow Republicans against the Affordable Care Act.

Connelly, a 22-year-old college student at Rutgers University, only heard about it the next day when a friend messaged him on Facebook to tell him the news — and he was not exactly thrilled. In fact, Connelly is supportive of the law and has already reaped some of the benefits of the ACA, often referred to by its detractors as “Obamacare.”

Khodahafez is a Persian-language expression that’s used to say goodbye. It’s sometimes written as two words: “khoda hafez” and literally translates as “God be with you.”

You can practically hear cable news talking heads trying to decide whether they should be outraged by this choice of words, but it’s really just a friendly colloquialism.

….In fact, it’s a point of contention in the Islamic world. The Persians tend to say “Khoda Hafez” and [for] lots of people, it’s the standard slang. But the hard line Sunnis now say “Allah Hafez,” because they don’t like the Persian word “Khoda,” which is “God.” But that’s inside baseball.

And WTH is this? Now MSM is claiming that President Obama was “scooped” by Rouhani????

As if the President is at their beck-and-call, and needs to be put in his place (because he’s being uppity????). The MSM is now curling into its fetal position, relying on what they know, which is White Privilege. Just beyond vile.

This is getting very little press, but i think the reason the GOP is so scared of ObamaCare is because people can register to vote when they sign up. VERY BFD! MILLIONS of people will be signing up for ObamaCare. MILLIONS!!!!!

And now that I think about it, people without insurance are probably more likely to vote Democratic. The poor and minorities.

    Sup guys.

So I was on FB yesterday right before going into the bowling alley for my league and I just happened to read this post from my friend He has linked to a comment from some dude about his insurance company cancelling his policy and about his premiums going up. So I just half-read the comment, but once it called POTUS “our fearless leader” and then read the comments in response to it, which were all the same anti-Obama “fearless leader” crap, I told my friend that he needs to start paying attention to the comments on post like that one he posted as a heads up to the fact that maybe the post is not legit and is just another way opponents of the system to muddy the waters on the ACA so that people will be more likely to not trust the system and therefore be more likely to not be able to see the benefits.

More of his friends posted more comments, basically selfish ass, “I got mine” type of bull, so I gave up on them and decided to post the following to my FB page along with the pic.

I know I post alot of needless, useless pop culture information on my FB…lol. But occasionally I do post things that are meant to be informative and gives important information. For the past week, at least, I have been posting link to some non-partisan sties and a few partisan sites about the upcoming implementation of the new Affordable Care Adt or “Obamacare”. Why? So that people I know can make informed decisions about the new law and not rely on “he said/she said”, “well I heard”, or whatever the latest conspiracy theorist or chain letter email you receive from your “crazy relative” or what “this dude” you know says. Ignorance is spread when people who know better just let incorrect information stand without being challenged. I’m keep on posting my links. At the very least, I don’t need it to be said that I didn’t try to make sure that my peeps didn’t have as much of the cold hard facts as anyone else!!!
