i’m getting a funny feeling there will be more odd stuff revealed about this guy as the weeks roll out. this little fetish is not a casual one-off prank. first he had to get his dad to get him the uniform, then he had to make up scenarios in which to use it. i’m particularly disturbed by his dressing in police uniform, using a flashing red light, and pulling over cars with only girls inside. we just might hear from some of these ladies about how he conducted himself at that point in the ‘prank’.

Three posts ago, I mentioned that this speech was a podium pounder:) Lord. Ms Chips…you are a feisty, quick one today! As an aside, I watched LOD with the link that Chips put up (thank you)..and the mom, Mrs. Philadelphia…said something that caught my ear. She said something Like, ” I never thought the President would treat a child as an equal, but he did.” I swear I almost burst into tears right then and there.
That’s a HUGE part of the differences that will be played out between PBO and Mr. Romney…..look at things from THAT perspective,and our President blows this man out of the water. In addition to all the rest…just sayin’

My youngest adult daughter and her fiance are living in Chicago this year and the next two years. He is attending law school at the same University Barack Obama taught at. My daughter is doing auditioning in performing arts and is currently in four different places performing. Chicago fits her needs in having many opportunities to perform. They plan to marry in August of 2013 here in Oregon. They love Chicago.
Love the story the President told about the marines and DADT. Gives me hope when people speak up for others even when they themselves have nothing to gain.
Thinking about Wisconsin. I do get frustrated by how short people’s memories are. But sometimes it’s a good thing. I think it will all be forgotten by November.

boehner and cantor are trying to stop the president from campaigning; floating some lame idea of “don’t go to Las Vegas; stay in town to talk about lowering the rate on student loans. How tranparent they are. The president has been trying to get them to do this for months; calling them out on it, and now they want to do it on their own terms (not really) so they can say ” we are ready to deal, to govern and the president blows us off to campaign.” It is also offensive that they think that they can tell him what do do as if he is their “boy” to fetch and carry at their behest. They still do not understand the caliber of the man that they are dealing with. I just saw a mention of this idiocy on the awful yahoo news.
They tried this before - trying to dictate the President’s movements. Weren’t they on vacation last week? Aren’t they only working 3 days in June? I seem to recall that the President was working during that G8 Summit, and on both sides of that same weekend. The GOP don’t have a leg to stand on. Let them figure out the deal, then they can make an appointment to see the President. Why do they need the President there - Grover Norquist has said that they just need a President to sign the legislation they put in front of him. The actual fact is that the President has presented them with his ideas already (long ago) - they just need to act.
