She’s probably back on a May 12 (2010) post chatting to herself, 99ts.

You are such a rat! Just to be sure I wasn’t missing anything momentous I traveled back to May 12/2010…….

where you had fortuitously ‘closed’ everything. Nothing will convince me that you didn’t close them just immediately before you dropped that red herring, knowing *I* would be sure to follow the trail…..just in case! Grrrr! 😉

Good morning TOD family, I love the serenity that the early morning provides. It is in these moments that I draw strength that will ready me for the approaching storm.

Morning all. House is eerily quiet today as all offspring have gone, although tomorrow we travel for long delayed visit with MIL. We’re one week away from the PA primary and desperate governor candidates are working feverishly to knock at Tom Wolf’s lead. I don’ think it’s going to happen. I’ve even got my name on the ballot for committee membership, although it’s pretty much pro forma. Turnout will be low in this area, but Philadelphia teams are working hard to get turnout there. Have a great day!

Beautiful Monday Morning Chips, my Danny and TOD family. Nice to be up early. These new computer devices going off with alarms that I had no idea that I set. Onward with the sprint in my step to get to the exercising bike. I am sure that is one reason my loving brother gifted me with this new tablet. Lovely chimes though.

Have a lovely day my TOD family. HZ

Morning TOD:) This is a morning MUST READ..wherein Bob Cesca BRILLIANTLY rips George Will a new one….I don’t know, but i think he’s starting to sound a bit like Pierce when he gets spun up:) Absolutely spot on! THIS shows you specifically, and with clarity, why Republicans JUST DON’T GET THE 21st CENTURY! (Among other things)

Toxic Tribalism Poisons Hope for Infrastructure Plan

    BY Norm Ornstein

Among the most embarrassing and unconscionable failures of the 113th Congress has been the inability to act in any way to help the economy through an infrastructure initiative, including but not limited to energy. The country’s infrastructure is crumbling, and the energy infrastructure is outmoded.
Polarization does not explain the failure to act on bills that transcend typical ideology. In a “normal” polarized environment, the fact is that Congress could and would pass bills that require no appropriations, no increases in government spending, the active participation of labor and business, and a way to prepare for the economy of the rest of the 21st century by borrowing low to create higher economic growth and improve the environment. Instead, we have an abnormal, tribal environment, where any bill that would accomplish a signing ceremony in the Oval Office or the Rose Garden is actively shunned. Low interest rates will not last forever; not to take advantage of them now to provide a better future for our children is simply pathetic.

Dear God…save them from themselves. Do it Now.

But Gowdy wants to explore the policy behind our presence in Benghazi, and Speaker Boehner says he wants to explore the lack of security.

Appearing on Fox News on Sunday morning, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) took a slightly different approach. While he said the select committee should focus on the events leading up to the Benghazi attack, he specifically said that members should investigate “the number of requests for more security and why it was not provided.”

Was he sleeping when they refused to fund embassy security? I hope this bites them in the ass.
