Obamacare is three times more popular than Congress. Should polls start asking if we should repeal Congress?

Thanks a trabazillion for all your work today (and every day) Nerdy, brilliant tweets!
Thanks Chips……there is another, Vetivera24……..TOD Au :star: Twins this Cold Crisp Evening ;)
Thanks Nena. There is only one at the top. It’s you! Congrats!
You’re welcome.
I would have been first, but I actually messed up and read all the tweets first. Won’t make that mistake again.
That’s is sort of how I always pictured you.
So you think I have a cat on my head?!?!
You know what the results of that comment will be, John!! :D :D :D :D
BTW, great news on your local gas prices!
Every once in a while I think I have a death wish.
You have more lives than a cat, Mister.
:D :D
You’re a brave man, Japa… *whispered from behind a curtain*
Dude! Rookie mistake! :-D
I know. I am so ashamed.
Just learn from it and move on, darling! :-D
Gold for Nena!! :)
Great selection of tweets, as always, NW.
In the spirit of a couple of them, I’ll add this ….
:)
G’Nite TOD.
Restless night last.
Knock on wood, same time tomorrow.
Night Nena, hope you get a good night’s sleep, see you tomorrow.
Wishing you a restful night, Nena!

That’s how ya do it — Roll in, take that gold, get some and then BOUNCE!
Like a B-B-BOSS! :-D

Thanks, Bob.
Go Nena! Congrats!
Evening all!
Btw Stay home Christie. Hope Stephen Harper sends you packing.
Great tweets
Thanks.
The First Tweet and the Gas Toon are my Favs.
Awesome NW. Touchdown!
You’re welcome, Nena.
Excellent tweet collection, NW! :-)
Thanks, Dudette.
Guys, let’s give celebs some love for tweeting Obamacare. Trolls are out in full force.
Agree. I appreciate them supporting PBO and all of us in these times of whacko commenters.
I second that!
RT’d, thanks, Dee. I (clueless) don’t recognize celebs, so it’s nice of you to point them out in this context.
Rt’d them just now too.
BTW, Meta, after our convo I unthinkingly followed a related link on one of the tweets NerdyW shared above. If you haven’t read it, and have a moment later, I’d recommend a peek.

Okey dokey. Thx.
Nancy Pelosi’s tweet to Boehner: PRICELESS!
What a day for twin entries and powerful tweets! Thanks for much for ferreting these out, NW!
You’re welcome, Judith.
According to the one tweet, Welcome to America, where the streets are paved in gold and an asshole like Chris Christie thinks he’s got a shot at being President. Ugh.
There’s our little cutie pie (you, too, Chips!). Er … I mean … good Monday to you, Mr. President, sir.
I do feel for his staff, who don’t get to ride in the Presidential cabin of Air Force One. But, it’s good to be President! :)
Read on the Senate confirmed at least 4 judges today! Woohoo!
Woohoo! Bet they all had to “retire to chambers,” after that big burst of senatorial energy!
Okay I miscounted. Three judges today plus the Childcare Bill. Not bad. There were couple more a few days ago. But take a look at what they will vote on tomorrow!
Letter was sent in August, and Ferguson is back to square one.
BEAUTIFUL.
::enters with a steaming hot bowl of chicken soup::
Evening all.
Uuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhh. Evening you!
Between me and japa you may be driven to open the whiskey bottle.
Japa already drove me to the gin this evening
And now you’re encouraging whiskey guzzling?
Bad influences, the pair of you.
I’ve been told that before.
Don’t blame me for your inability to control yourself. Probably consumed about 30 bags of cheesy puffs as well.
Did not. Was busy washing up.
Yo L-Boogie! How you feelin’ Bae? :-)
Hey Lt. Dudette. Eh, felt better, felt worse. Have Storytime tomorrow, so have to get my midichlorians going.
someone here put up a tweet recently that showed the u.s. is last in industrialized nations in terms a real tax rates as percentage of g.d.p, or something to that effect. can anyone leave a link here to that again? i thought that was a pretty powerful graphic that i want to circulate as much as possible.
‘Twas me.
Good response to those conservatives who say “we’ve got a spending problem.”
Lots more graphs in the link:
Sure. The Danes have free health care, free higher education, a high minimum wage, a gleaming infrastructure, and an amazing standard of living. But we have Duck Dynasty! USA! USA!
We’re #1! :-)
thank you! yes, that’s a great one to have ready for the republican family member/friends at your holiday gatherings!
Great tweet collection, NW.
Here’s a couple more for “filed under sexism” folder:
Go Kiera!
I don’t care what Chips says: there’s nothing like a steaming bowl of sopa de gallina to set a soul right.
I still love you, despite your suspect food choices.
Looks good to me!

Yep, that’s how my mom makes it.

Dag! Y’all are making me hungry and I just ate! :-D
Ha ha ha. :)
catching up. So, JJ Nixon is calling out the MO NG because something something blacks is scaring the white folk. I really wish people would stop sucking, but for too many of us it seems to be endemic.
It’s almost too much to bear, isn’t it? I keep hoping “the future” (that place we never seem to fully reach, peacefully, as humans) is brighter.
We’re a world filled with sinverguenzas, as my mom would put it, with a few points of brightness.
After having looked it up, I agree with your mom!
Kewl! Of course we don’t have it!
Good evening TODers
I have to share with you the biggest scam that some people try to pull on me and my 17 year old son. So, I am trying to buy a car for the kid. He saw this truck on Craiglist that he liked. We called the folks. No return call. But someone sent me an e-mail asking me to e-mail his sister for whom he was doing the advertising.
Shortly after I e-mailed her, she sent me this e-mail telling me that she was selling the car because it brought her so much bad memories. Due to the fact that her 22 year old son had been killed in a car accident while he and his girl friend were going to his little brother’s party. At first, I fell hook, line and sinker for the bunk.
Then she sent me another e-mail telling me that she was selling the car through E-bay. That E-bay would send me all the paperwork, etc to begin the transaction.
Sure enough the fake e-bay sent me the paperwork to do the transaction. So, I call the number that they have listed as the e-bay financial department. Recording comes on and say the person you trying is not available. So, I called the “REAL” E-bay customer service and told them that someone was trying to perpetrate a fraud using their product. The girl asked me to forward my communication to E-bay, which I did.
But later the guy calls me while I was in a meeting. I called him back for giggles because I am on to him. I pretend to be very interested in purchasing the car. I ask him what should I do. He says, don’t use PayPal (Which my sister had warned me that, this is the way E-bay does transaction). Messing with him, I say, OK, what should I do. He tells me to go buy this card, scratch off the back and tell him the numbers. Buy the cards in increments of $500.00. OK, I say.
Later this evening, we talk again. Then I tell him, I am going to the CVS right now to get the card. Should I call you when I get there? He says yes. Of course I am laying on my couch. An hour later, as I expected, he calls. My son tells me to answer. I say no. Let him sweat. Minutes later, he calls back. Still didn’t pick up.
Then after a while I call. I say hey, did you call me. He says what’s your name? I say, did you call? He says oh, is this ____. I say yes. He said, I was just checking to see if you bought the card. I tell him, that I realized I bought the wrong cards, no scratch on it. I will have to take it back tomorrow.
In the mean time, the woman with the supposedly dead son emails me again. “Hi, did you make the payment yet? I forward it to the real E-bay e-mail as they asked me to.
These crooks are out of Vermont or at least that’s where they pretend to be out of. I researched their number and found that they had swindled a family out of $2200 using the same money card and family had not been able to recoup the money. I wish there was some way I could get them caught. But that guy is probably in Saudi Arabia or somewhere calling so….
In any case, they really think they are going to get my money. But the joke is on them.
Glad you saw through ‘em! Well done! Good lesson for the young’un too!
Oh my gaaaaaawd Africa, what a story. You were smart enough to see through this, but it’s scary how many people get caught out, like the family you mentioned. Why oh why oh why is this planet populated by so many scumbags?
Greed
AMAZING!!!! Well played, africa!!
Ok good folks, my Internetting for the evening is done. See everyone tomorrow.
And be a wise bird like africa. Don’t buy scratch cards for some dude over the phone.
G’nite. Take care of you. Try not to pass on cold cooties to the little ones tomorrow. :-)
Ha!
No doubt #FergusonPD Chief Jackson is too.
Based on every clueless statement and lies that come from his mouth, cannot believe otherwise.
:-D
Perhaps David Plouffe will be more easily convinced to lead the DNC ….
SMH!
Isn’t that a form of extortion?
Of course!
