I remember President Obama saying in a speech that âwe are the ones weâve been waiting for.â It is good to know that he has faith in us, even though sometimes we donât show that we have faith in ourselves. One of the things that makes me feel hopeful is that he isnât leaving the world stage after his Presidency is over. I suspect that many from all political persuasions will seek his counsel.

Hopef, I am holding out for the dream that the Obamas will be making such a difference within months of being freed from the restriction of ‘politicsâ, people who were fearing their departure from the WH will be singing a different tune. After 2017 Pres O & Michelle O can speak more candidly on all issues. Do you doubt that if Pres O launches, for example, a call for people to send clear messages to their representatives on this/that issue the O-coalition would not respond in droves? I am one of the few who is not reluctant to see PBOâs term in WH end. I have absolutely hated the way the Oâs have been treated by those who should have known better, and irritated that despite giving/doing so very much PBO in particular is repeatedly expected to ‘prove himselfâ at each turn. I am anticipating greater leadership progress out of office simply because the Congress wonât be in his way.
