hard to watch the relatives and friends of the victims of Russian airlines crash in Egypt;
I don’t know if this incident will give putin and his supporters a chance to pause and reconsider their own corporation about the Malaysian airlines brought down in Ukraine;
if people who know what happened refuse to corporate then there is limited chance that the cause of the crash can be fully understood and remedied to make flying safer for us all

there was piece on FB yesterday….showing pics of women with and without makeup…the caption that someone had written was that they want to see a women naturally with out makeup…if she is “ugly” then so be it..altho it was hard to tell whether it was a man or woman from the name…i would hazard a guess that this was a man’s comment…
is up to the woman if she chooses to wear or not to wear makeup…. his comments were mean spirited…that i cannot abide by…

U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan said on Sunday it would be ridiculous to work with President Barack Obama on immigration policy reform, saying he cannot trust the president on the issue.
Isn’t he up for reelection in 2016? Last chance to get rid of the fucking liar.
Ryan revealed himself for the horse’s ass he really is a long time ago. I hope he fails spectacularly and permanently destroys what semblance of a reputation he has left.

It’s been widely reported that newly-elected Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) won’t bring immigration reform legislation to the House floor while President Obama remains in office. What’s been mentioned less is what will happen when Obama is gone.
According to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Ryan promised the House’s ultra-conservative Freedom Caucus in a closed-door meeting that he won’t bring comprehensive immigration reform to the floor even after a new president is elected — that is, unless he can ensure that the majority of House Republicans will vote for it. And Jordan pointed out that it’s very unlikely that the majority of Republicans will ever support anything comprehensive.
“We got assurances on the immigration issue and this comprehensive Gang-of-Eight-type of plan that that’s not going to happen,�? Jordan told radio host Laura Ingraham on Friday. “And frankly, in the next Congress, there’s no way something like that moves unless the majority of our conference supports it. And the majority of our conference, as you rightly point out, doesn’t support that.�?
VOTE THESE GUYS OUT! They don’t want anyone here that won’t give them $$ and vote for them! They would rather just bad mouth the one President that is trying to make comprehensive immigration reform happen… they feel embolden to trash immigrants because they already agreed that NOTHING will ever happen on their watch! Really, I have such revulsion for these hateful people… VOTE PEOPLE!!
DF, articles like this should find their way to FB, twitter and news outlets of Korean, Chinese, Latino citizens so they know how the republicans feel about immigration reform. It affects them and they should rally their voting base to fight. If some of us know how, we should see that this article gets to these destinations - pronto.

As part of my Halloween Horror movie classic ritual, I watched “The Shining” last night. This movie was made in 1980, and I’ve seen it several times, yet it continues to creep me out in a way that most modern horror movies just can’t get close to.

Shelley Duvall certainly brings it to the viewer as the emotionally exhausted, frightened and then horrified spouse and mother, Wendy Torrance.
And as for six-yr-old Danny Lloyd, as the the perceptive, yet tormented little Danny Torrance - damn…whoever did the casting for that movie was SPOT on!

The press is facing an existential threat. With Republicans increasingly unashamed to tell grandiose lies and respond to any press criticism with derogatory insults and whines about media bias as well as blackmail threats to cancel appearances if the questions are too tough, the press must decide how to respond on two fronts. First, it must decide how to present an objective face while acknowledging that both sides do not, in fact, behave equally badly. Second, it must determine whether it will continue to ask the tough questions that need answers regardless of the threats made by the GOP, or whether it will meekly submit to the demands for kid-glove treatment.
This President is such a kind and intelligent person; kids know — he is so readily accepted by kids all over the world. A true measure of a tremendous man.
