Agree with everyone, that this State Dinner is “tingly,” LOL.
Love the camaraderie and joy on display between countries who share one of the longest borders in the world.
Those who pine for Jack and Jackie (Kennedy) haven’t adjusted their WSSQ (white supremacy status quo) POV — both couples are dynamic, engaging and beautiful.
West Wing Reports is WRONG! The best looking couples are the Obamas and the Trudeaus. I saw most of the people enter….I don’t know Ryan Reynolds, but I didn’t see anyone who outshone the first couples. Besides, they shine from the inside, which is where beauty begins.

MSM (WSSQ - white supremacy status quo, meaning white is default) perpetuate the notion that Jackie O was the most elegant and sophisticated First Lady, when in fact she was rail thin and smoked like a chimney.
It’s now the 21st century, and no First Lady before Michelle Obama could have looked as stunning in the dress that Michelle wore at the India State Dinner:
So glad we got a glimpse of her ankle strap shoes. She has so much style, she just knocks your socks off. PBO must just beam with pride every time she steps out in one of her state dinner gowns.
Beautiful couples. Our POTUS and FLOTUS are so gracious. Going to miss them so much in the WH, so I will pray that I will have the honor and grace to be alive to see them continue to do so much for this country and the world.

I firmly believe that the brilliance, humanity and magnificence of our President and First Lady have been a great gift given to the American people. Wonderful ad! Initially, I was not for Hillary Clinton because of the way her and Bill Clinton behaved in 2008. After Martin O’Malley dropped out, and she stopped running against President Obama, I took a second look at Hillary and I liked what I saw. I am now “all-in- with Hillary”!

I got that wrong. It was Nixon proposing a toast at the State Dinner with Pierre Trudeau - toast to “the future Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Pierre Trudeau.” He was 4 months old at the time.

I’m so glad I caught the toasts! Missed the beginning of POTUS’ though. He still didn’t nail Mississauga though. :-) There’s no “gwa” at the end, it’s just “gaw”. But I love how he just gamely tries whatever and just carries on! :-D Also liked how PM Trudeau kept urging his mother to stand up and be acknowledged.
