Obama likes first lady’s ‘curves’

President Obama says he’s a fan of Michelle Obama’s “curves.”
“When you’re the dad of two daughters, you notice more what when I was a kid I didn’t realize as much or maybe was even a part of — which is the enormous pressure that young women are placed under in terms of looking a certain way,” Obama says in a wide-ranging joint interview with ballet dancer Misty Copeland for Time and Essence magazines.
“That pressure I think is historically always been harder on African-American women than just about any other women, but it’s part and parcel of a broader way in which we socialize and press women to constantly doubt themselves or define themselves in terms of a certain appearance,” Obama, dad to Malia, 17, and Sasha, 14, says in the interview released Monday.
“Michelle and I are always guarding against that,” Obama says before adding of the 52-year-old first lady, “And you know, the fact that they’ve got a tall, gorgeous mom who has some curves and that their father appreciates, I think is helpful.”
There are so many things that the First Lady has done for our country. Having her own style, being comfortable in her own body while at the same time modeling fitness are just a few. Lord may we not go back to the stepford wife image in the White House. Now that we are being freed from the confines of that ‘value’ I never want to go back. It is oppressive to even contemplate. FLOTUS has a wonderful flowing grace about her, a warmth that combines with strength and intelligence. If she were interested, I would vote her into office in a nanosecond if I could. I know perfect is the enemy of good but she is just about perfect anyway.

I was just about to post the last quote, which is my favorite from the transcript of the entire interview. PBO is all about the bass, and if the truth is told, most men are. The only people who were interested in skinny models were young women.

I am concerned though because it is another open primary state. Feel much more secure in the closed states. She was leading in MI too and look what happened. In these open states, lots of people are “playing” with their votes. I’ve heard numerous callers on all the Sirrus XM progressive shows I listen to admit that. One caller this morning was seriously thinking of voting for Kasich instead of Bernie because she wants to ‘help’ Kasich win OH.
Bernie is carpeting the airwaves with adds in Ohio …… he must be spending a ton of money here.
He’ll get community service and an early pension.
