Shocking, the media FINALLY discovers that Sanders actually is clueless, incompetent, and unprepared to govern.

      Good afternoon TOD!
      Congratulations Bill R. for #1!
You are so correct about this worthless media.
I will say the same about them.
“Clueless, incompetent and unprepared to report the truth.”
Enjoy the remainder of this beautiful day.

Don’t dare talk like that about Bernie, his supporters will have a dam fit. Bernie is going to save the world although he or they don’t know how.

Let them have to react to some serious criticism for a change, instead of whining about nothing.

        • April 6, 2016 at 3:45 pm

All Bernie have been doing is speaking against Wall St., big banks, our President, while promising the moon, but never saying how he will pay for them getting that moon. But it seem he has con alot of folks, specially young folks.

Thank you so much for posting this. In the first section there is a clip of Senator Sanders greeting people in what looks like a restaurant. Just watching his movements those few moments he seems like he is doddering. He doesn’t seem able to greet people assertively, doesn’t seem to be focused, kind of wandering is the impression he gives to me. Its either fatigue or something more serious.

🙂 That’s so funny 57&F! My inner monologue (conversation?) these days often sounds too cranky old lady-ish for my taste. I’m so used to thinking of my Gen-X self as being cool and hip (and I must say I think we are compared to those god-awful neck beard’s sense of style) but something about this election cycle brings out the eye-rolling, pragmatic, experienced, been-there-and-done-that-not-having-any-more-of-it woman in me.

Still feeling fairly cool. As soon as I see Henry Rollins on PBS doing pledge drives though, I’ll know it’s all over for us Gen-Xers 🙂

Thank you, Pf. There’s no way he’s coming out of NY and PA with 300 delegates. IT”S NOT HAPPENING and even Bernie has to know that. We are going to have to endure a lot of pro Bernie bragging from supporters and desperate attempts to promote him from the media, but when all is said and done HE WILL NOT BE THE NOMINEE.

    http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2016/04/06/3766942/fiduciary-rule-final/

Up until now, the financial advisers who help retirees decide where to put their investments could legally steer clients toward decisions that made themselves more money at their clients’ expense. Now that practice will be against the rules.
On Wednesday, the Department of Labor (DOL) issued a final rule that will require those advisers to adhere to a “fiduciary standard,” or in other words to always put clients’ interests ahead of their own when they make recommendations about investing in exchange for fees or other payment. They will have to make “prudent” investment recommendations, according to the DOL, that don’t take their own interests into account, as well as charge reasonable compensation that doesn’t create a conflict of interest and fairly represent their recommended investments. Compliance will be required in a year, beginning in April of 2017.

This is how it is done between two people who have long loved each other and who show it in ways big and small. The hand not holding the spoon is there to catch any of the ice cream that falls from the spoon. She is leaning forward in trust that he will take care of everything. It is also clear that this is not the first time that they have done this. Icky Cruz and his Stepford wife really need to stop faking it; no one is impressed or fooled. His little daughter’s reaction to him when he tried to lean over and kiss her several weeks ago, tell the true story of this domestic tyrant (he admitted to spanking a 5 year old) who is trying to foist his ugly, mean ways on the rest of us.

SW, Hillary did the right thing by laughing at this ludicrousness. Bernie and his campaign manager could care less about the Democratic Party. Bernie isn’t Democrat and hasn’t helped a single Democratic during his campaign. This is Republican level projection–blaming the other guy for what you’ve done.

      • April 6, 2016 at 5:11 pm

I understand that he has already started the process to run for Senate again…AS AN INDEPENDENT!!! If he is a Democrat, why not run for Senate as a Democrat. Oh yeah, he is only running now as a Democrat because he wouldn’t have gotten attention as a third-party candidate.

Her answers were so right on…….they are usually just what I would say……I think she is really enjoying the campaign this time. She looks sure of herself and relaxed. Go Hillary.

          • April 6, 2016 at 6:09 pm

I like that she is trying to stay on the high road. Some of the questions on The View yesterday gave her the opportunity to make negative comments about Bernie and his campaign; but she didn’t. She kept it positive…presidential!

Michigan governor Rick Snyder faces racketeering lawsuit over Flint water crisis
    The Guardian THE GUARDIAN
    06 APR 2016 AT 16:18 ET

A federal racketeering lawsuit by hundreds of resident in Flint, Michigan , is alleging the city’s two-year water crisis was the result of an“intentional scheme” crafted by state officials and Michigan governor Rick Snyder to balance the city’s budget.

In a press conference announcing the 17-count racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations ( Rico ) complaint on Wednesday, attorneys said the state of Michigan ran Flint’s day-to-day operations through an emergency manager, who prioritized balancing the city’s budget through a cost-cutting measure: switching Flint’s water source in April 2014 from Lake Huron, which serviced the city for more than 50 years, to a local river.

California authorities raid home of anti-Planned Parenthood videographer

Investigators with the California Department of Justice on Tuesday raided the home of David Daleiden, the anti-abortion activist behind a series of undercover videos targeting Planned Parenthood, the activist said.

Authorities seized a laptop and multiple hard drives from his Orange County apartment, Daleiden said in an email. The equipment contained all of the video Daleiden had filmed as part of his 30-month project, “including some very damning footage that has yet to be released to the public,” he said.

A spokeswoman for California Attorney General Kamala Harris (D) said she could not comment on an ongoing investigation. But the raid confirms that California is among the states looking into possible criminal activity on the part of Daleiden and his organization, the Center for Medical Progress, which have been the center of controversy since releasing videos purporting to show that Planned Parenthood illegally sells fetal tissue for a profit.

The slimy piece of snail dung that is Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp (the same one who accidentally sent voter’s personally identifiable info out to the world last fall) decided to quietly change the district boundary to conveniently “disqualify” the first African-American Democratic challenger to a GOP state legislative incumbent of a rural mostly black district.
