This story, like so many coming out of the Olympics, just makes me cry. We are seeing so any wonderful people triumph, who were never thought to have a chance. Beautiful!

This Bernie man is really sick. Why doesn’t he campaign on behalf of HRC like he said he would?

I heard him say he would campaign for “selected candidates” – didn’t realise it would against the dems rather than the republicans. DWS will win her primary – as did Paul Ryan with the GOP wingnuts supporting his opponent – so Sanders will look the fool that he is.

BS just used the Dems to his own end. Yah, he said and tweeted do not vote for Trump vote for Hillary. That is about it. He thinks that fulfills his pledge. To me he is a prime example of someone that does not walk his talk. His behavior before, during and after his campaign shows he would not make a good President. He is able to inspire, but more than that is required of the office holder.

NO – We cannot dismiss Trumps 2nd Amendment remarks.

“Don’t retreat, reload.” Remember these words by Sarah Palin as she put the crosshairs over Gabby Giffords in 2010? Crosshairs is a political phrase that emerged from Palin’s political action committee SarahPac that targeted congressional districts for the Tea Party campaign including the district of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in AZ.

Giffords responded to Palin’s ad by saying “When people do that, they’ve got to realize there are consequences to that action.”
One month later, Jared Loughner acted on those careless words by Palin as he emptied a 30-round magazine into the crowd gathered to hear Giffords at a AZ shopping center.

Loughner killed 6 people including federal judge John Roll and 9-year-old Christina-Taylor Green. 13 people were injured during the rampage including congresswoman Giffords who was shot in the head at point-blank range.

No, Trump cannot be excused for his careless remarks suggesting ‘2nd Amendment people taking care of Clinton’. There is always a Jared Loughner somewhere out there ready to take up the cause…

Palin crossed the line & the media paid her another million. This was the GOP plan to make Barack Obama a 1 term President. Trump is the result. They earned him.

If the SS just gave Trump a slap on the wrist, I am beyond sick. Yes, I think he should be arrested. Any one of us would be. At least for holding. Will Trump now take to twitter to badmouth, insult and generally try to undermine the Secret Service because they “had a little talk” with him? I can only imagine some of the insults that will fly from his twittering self. Can the Secret Service refuse to provide him protection, because I think that would be the fitting result of this outside of actually having him locked up. Let’s see how he might feel if he is more vulnerable in the real world. I cried all yesterday afternoon, mostly from fear and just plain sickness that I was seeing some vile aspect of our political times that I have never ever see before. Having lived through the assassinations of JFK, RFT, MLK, through Watergate, on and on, I am truly scared.

If you recall just recently when Hillary was on a stage and the SS agents rushed to protect her, that level of attention has risen 10 fold and I have no worries that they won’t hesitate to shoot to kill – per their instructions from PBO.

What a wonderful article to wake up to – thank you NW
    From the link

If your political priorities are the total defeat of a single politician – not the advancement of your own policies through debate or legislation – then you are already in pretty desperate shape. You render it impossible to compromise with your opponents, and you fan the flames of extremism that will burn anyone in the center.

You also look weak and foolish when you lose, surrendering the stage to someone who can vilify his opponents better than you. So don’t look dazed and confused at Donald Trump when he runs your playbook more convincingly than your own team. It’s too late to fret about endorsing his kooky positions – like deporting millions of undocumented immigrants, treating all Muslims as enemies and blowing up the deficit – when they are only logical extensions of your own.

Couldn’t sleep last night – I was imagining Trump on the border screaming at Mexico to “build that wall” & then using his “2nd amendment rights” when people laughed at him. I saw him in Europe threatening every leader except Putin.

I wake up this morning & see what he has generated at the latest Clinton Rally. As in the article from Nerdy

“the only point of unity inside the GOP is its gleeful hatred of Hillary Clinton, and its thinly veiled disdain for a nominee who has yet to find a politician he can’t insult.”

Trump is aggressive, insane and uncontrollable. It is to be hoped his finances are in ruin, his friends are none & his businesses implode after this outrageous display of hatred to his country.

Don’t Worry About Malia Obama; Worry About Your Eyebrows
    Awesomely Luvvie — August 10, 2016 0 8

Do we remember the walking messes that were the Bush Twins, Jenna and Barbara? Them two got into so much mayhem that they were basically Mario and Luigi. There’s pics on pics of them falling over themselves, drunk, as their daddy flushed the country’s economy down the toilet. In comparison, the Obama girls have been angels. Even without comparison, those girls have carried themselves with much more grace than they should even know how at this point in life.

I needed to start this there because LEST YE FORGET. Them two didn’t even try that hard to act like they had couth so any critiques of the Obama girls needs to be tempered, because what came before them was that. The Bush Twins did not get lambasted like they could have. And y’all ain’t gon come for the edges of my baes, Malia and Sasha. NO YOU WILL NOT.

Malia Obama, First Daughter, First of Her Name, She of House Obama, Daughter to Barack and Michelle, has been in the news lately. First, for a video that was captured on someone’s phone of her dancing and hiking up her skirt at Lollapalooza. People said she should behave better, and I wanted to tell all those people to shut their mouths wide open.

She was at Lollapalooza, a concert where having behavior is super optional. She was dancing and she had on shorts. She exposed nothing. WHAT is the gahtdamb problem??

Also important, the Obama girls have maintained decorum for so long. I’d wanna shake something too if my every move was monitored by Secret Service and I was basically caged up at the White House for 7 long ass years. I do not wanna hear from the “she should know better” crew. She is 18, and her flipping up her skirt (while wearing shorts underneath) is the least of troubles she could get into.

Fox News for 8 years – from Nerdy’s link

After eight years of conservative caricature, you may be forgiven for thinking that Obama is a Kenyan Muslim socialist with terrorist sympathies and job-destroying policies on healthcare and bank regulation.

Of course, if you live inside the echo chamber of Fox News and rightwing talk radio, you have to ignore the pesky fact that unemployment now stands at 4.9%. That’s lower than when Reagan left office in 1988, and it’s lower than when Bill Clinton won re-election in 1996.

The rate stood at 8.3% in Obama’s first full month in office, and not much below that when he won re-election. For a president with a job-killing economic plan, that’s not a shabby performance.

In today’s world it seems a poll dictates what is right instead of factual information. Everything seems to be judged by what the uninformed public thinks. Then the news is based on what they think instead of the MSM informing the public’s thinking by facts. The tail wagging the dog?

this is the creed on which I base my actions in social media: =>

if there is a negative/manufactured/exaggerated story about a person I care about, I refrain from repeating/quoting that very unfair/untrue/biased accusation.

instead, I try to defend that person by

    (a) NOT sharing that story => repetition reinforces stories;

    (b) finding a way to answer/contradict the accusation without directly using the exact words included in the accusation

I have seen media items questioning “her” existence – I suspect that reporters are digging for more “proof of life”.

        I think the Washington Post story is alluding that “her” existence may be as elusive as “big foot” since he has used “her” name before to defend himself;

I also recall seeing that Twitter has cancelled “her” account since “she doesn’t exist”
