The “Caddyshack” star and Charleston resident was in Washington for the Sunday-night Mark Twain awards at the Kennedy Center honoring fellow funnyman Dave Letterman, and apparently found time during his visit to reunite with an old golfing buddy. Obama and Murray famously practiced putting in the Oval Office in a video the White House released in December urging people to sign up for health insurance.

For almost a year, Kris Kobach, the secretary of state of Kansas, has struggled to hide the truth about his efforts to lobby the Trump administration to make it much harder for Americans to vote. Part of that struggle ended today when a federal court ordered excerpts of Kris Kobach’s testimony disclosed along with other documents obtained by the American Civil Liberties Union in our challenge to his restrictive voter registration regime.
The unsealed materials confirm what many have suspected: Kobach has a ready-made plan to gut core voting rights protections enshrined in federal law. And he has been covertly lobbying Trump’s team and other officials from day one to sell them the falsehood that noncitizens are swinging elections.

My dream is and has been for a while, that on the first anniversary of rump’s fraudulent election, charges will be filed against him, or, in my wildest dream, FBI agents will march into the White House and put handcuffs on him and march him out. I know the second one is unrealistic, but I like the timing of the first half. We know these revelations will not be the last from the investigation. I have been amazed at the lack of leaks from the investigation. Mueller hired top notch people, obviously.
