OMG!! I sit on our Countyās Election Advisory Committee and we have been researching these 2 vendors and one other for the past year as we need to purchase new voting machines asap. And the final choice of vendor is being decided right now. Also these 2 vendors have been certified by our wonderful Sec of State Alex Padilla. How did this get by all these people? Or is it just that techies can figure out how to hack just about anything as soon as it hits the market? Will there ever be a safe way for us to vote again? We have used paper ballots forever, but this means we may have to go back to manual counting. Iāve forwarded this info to the committee members and our Registrar. We meet on Friday, so I am curious to see what they say.
