Thanks so much for sharing this Gazelle. Ms. Mwansa is most impressive! Half way through Iām smiling, nodding my head and clapping along with the audience. Canāt wait to see what sheās up to in the years ahead! šš¾šš¾šš¾
The other fun part is that she didnāt realize that sheās a badass, she just wanted to say her truth, for her generation. Thus her surprise at the audienceās reaction. š
However, given that #Impeachment hearings haven't begun, the number of Americans supporting #Impeachment is significantly greater than was the case for #Nixon at the outset of his #Impeachment process. @SpeakerPelosi is in a remarkably strong position to hold #Trump accountable
— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) June 7, 2025
She should indicate that even with the abundant effort by Trump to #ObstructJustice, the evidence for historical cooperation with a hostile foreign power to alter an election merits much further investigation & determination if Trump is compromised & subject to ongoing bribery.
— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) June 7, 2025
Upon conclusion of #RobertMueller's statement she should inform Americans of the manner in which #McConnell has undermined the Constitutional role of the Senate and the Congress to act to uphold the #RuleOfLaw in accorddance with the basic principles of due process.
— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) June 7, 2025
Whatever #McConnell thinks at the moment, he will not be able to withstand, nor will any other Republican Senator, the wrath of Americans once the effort has been made to educate them of the extent of Trump's criminality, threat to our National Security & complicity of the @GOP.
— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) June 7, 2025
No further delay is justifiable. @SpeakerPelosi and #RobertMueller should be speaking to the House and all Americans in the coming days.
With the momentum they can catalyze, @RepJerryNadler's Judiciary Committee will have leverage & an eager American audience awaiting justice.

Bobfr, You sir, are so d— smart and such a true patriot. WHY, WHY, WHY wonāt these people listen to reason and just “plain old common sense”? If one honestly believes in the oath he/she took to uphold the Constitution, what you described is exactly what the person would do. If Mueller is as much of a patriot as many have said he is, he would volunteer readily to testify openly and do it quickly. The more time that passes, the more emboldened 45 becomes. Barbara Boxer made that point against doing anything and Jason Johnson said, “I disagree. Heās already emboldened and will continue to be so it will not make any difference.” Have heard so many people almost screaming “DO SOMETHING NOW. NOW!”
Speaker Pelosi may well be out in front of all of us, strategically & tactically. No doubt, sheās a Leader.
That said, the ongoing criminality and mind blowing inhumanity of Trump must be stopped.
From my perspective, he is readily stoppable, now, as long as an orchestrated effort to align Americans becomes a priority for those with the power to make it happen.
Speaker Pelosi has that power. Hope she uses it, visibly and rigorously, soon.
This is the first news story I recall ever paying attention to as a child. MLKJr was killed earlier that year and to be honest all of that was a blur, I think because it was during the school year. I knew it was devastating for my parents and everyone they knew, for me (not yet 8 yrs old) everything about that day and the days not long after are a fog of jumbled disjointed moments. Months later, school was out for summer. They interrupted all tv shows and played footage of chaos in that hotel seconds immediately following Bobby Kennedyās assassination over and over that day. I saw people cradling him and there was blood, which back then they often never showed on TV. Dad came home from work early. I didnāt understand who the man who died was or why that happened to him, but I knew he was someone important and I watched my parents cry for him like they cried for Dr. King. That day is seared in my memory.

At age 21, the two worst days of my life happened, to that point, happened today and 4 April in 1968. I still morn for both men and know that had they both lived we would be in an entirely better place than we are today.
Indeed, Jacqueline! I readily visualize exactly where I was on each of those days when I first heard the news and remember so many details of what I experienced - and some very unpleasant encounters I had with a certain family member - in the hours after each assassination. My relationship with that person was essentially irreparable after those moments.
