Sure are. Damn, I almost made it. :-)
Congrats Fellow Minnesotan, Roberta in MN with your Golden :star:
Thanks NW. These Tweets are just Fantastic.
You’re welcome, Nena.
Congrats Roberta!
Congrats, Roberta! How’s your weather?
Ouuuuuuutstanding tweets Nerdy, thank yooooooou!!!
Thanks Yardarm, Neena, the tweets were pretty awesome. Nerdy sure has a talent for picking the right ones and relevant.
Thank You Nerdy Wonka
Congrats Roberta! NW is Right & Relevant! Thank you NW!
You’re welcome, Roberta.
Our POTUS sure has had one helluva a trip this time. He keeps accomplishing great things for the USA & the world. Thank you President Obama.
Hi up there, Roberta! How’s the weather in your fair state? We are having an ice storm in Portland, OR, but nothing can chill my delight at all President Obama is accomplishing at home and abroad.
Cold in MN, but PBO always warms the heart!
Wow, an ice storm, sounds dangerous to travel.
Stay safe and warm!
President Obama is amazing. Love him madly. Although, I’m not really old enough to be his mother (unless I had him at 13), I sometimes look at pictures of him and feel he could be my son. Strange?
No, not at all. . .
Great thought sabreen.
His Mother was just a babe when she had him, and so utterly tragic that she didn’t live to see him become President.
I think that many Obot women feel protective of him because he is unrelentingly bashed unfairly by EVERYONE.
The birther nonsense wouldn’t have taken off if Ann Dunham had been here to set the record straight. One of my fantasies, I admit, is to imagine her fierce take down of those bigots with just a sentence or two.
WOW, arapaho415, I have never considered that. But I think you are absolutely right. If his mother were alive none of this birther BS would have happened.
Yardarm’s health tip for the day. :) From A Cardiac Specialist!
Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the
body:
2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack
I can also add to this… My Physician told me that water at bedtime will
also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking
hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.
A Cardiologist stated that if each person, after receiving this
e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life could be saved!
I have already shared this information. What about you?

Interesting list, Yardarm. Thanks for sharing it with us.
My pleasure Judith. I hope it helps. :)
:-)
Sorry. The post above was somehow truncated.
WATER IS LIFE
How many folks do you know who say they don’t want to drink anything before going to bed because they’ll have to get up during the night?
Something else I didn’t know … I asked my Doctor why do people need to
urinate so much at night time.
Answer from my Cardiac Doctor:
Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright
(legs swell).
When you lie down and the lower body (legs, etc.) is level with the kidneys,
it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier.
This then ties in with the last statement!
I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your
body, but this was news to me.
Correct time to drink water… Very Important >From A Cardiac Specialist!

Thanks for this yardarm. Very practical and helpful…..I will increase my early morning intake to two glasses from one, and take a full glass of water with my aspirin before bed.
Good-o carolyn.
Just passed this along to a Facebook group on weight loss and health.
Can’t hurt.
One of our members has been talking a lot about water drinking, so this is great. Thanks.
Been doing all the above for quite some time, except the water before bath. I learned a long time ago from Swiss doctors to turn the temp from hot to cold a few times during a shower, to help raise and lower blood pressure, ending with cold. Been doing that now for 28+ years. It does nothing for rheumatoid arthritis, sad to say. :(
Yeah but the cold water is said to be good for diabetics. Go figure.
Do a sauna after the cold to help with “arthur”. :)
The GOPers don’t want Public Education. They want “their” kind of “people” to vote. They want to control Women and their bodies. They preach morality, yet today, they vote people with questionable morality flaws in office. The deny Science. They promote Christianity in governance. They don’t want any regulations. They deny healthcare to many. They profess love of Nation, Guns and the Military……yet their ONLY love is the Gun Culture IMO.
In a nation of 318.9M…….how are those above mentioned beliefs sustain a diverse democratic system?
From the bottom of Chat Away, because I love children, and I love PBO! And I’m realizing I may not have survived the early 1980’s if not for George Benson and his ability to perceive what fills the human heart.

I see those lovely children, I see PBO delighted to greet them and be greeted by them ~ I imagine this song plays in his Heart always!
<3
It beautiful MP, TY for sharing. It’s warming my heart if not my toes.
Good for John Fogerty. The protest in this song is about (mostly) workingclass and poor young people fighting wars that profit the old and wealthy. It is more a protest than anti-war song.
All 3 other songs Bruce did were comments and protests about the dying American dreams. Bleak, mournful and depressed about the post midterm .
Perhaps Bruce should read TOD and see how PBO has “started a fire and found a spark” even now. My apologies for mangling lyrics.
Yes, back in the day when rock ‘n roll was pioneered by the workingclass (think Elvis and the Beatles) — after stealing from The Blues.
Can’t get behind the emo-like collegiate that perform hipster songs nowadays.
Yuck, me either, arapaho
Jon Tester chosen as head of dscc! I think that makes me angrier than last week’s election results.
Jon Effing Tester?!?!?!!? They learn NOTHING?!?!?!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! S.T.U.P.I.D.
Okay, he made some sense; but we need more than the laundry list he thinks will win the day. And he’s still a red-stater. That mindset might have worked 20 years ago but I hope he understands that the landscape has changed.
“Tester said one reason Democrats did so poorly in last week’s midterm elections is they weren’t advocating for “good, solid policies” and voters didn’t really know what they stood for.
“I think good policy is good politics,” he said in an interview with the Gazette State Bureau.
Tester said policies that Democrats should pursue include making college more affordable, protecting Social Security and Medicare, ensuring access to public lands, passing a highway bill that improves roads and bridges, making health care more affordable, taking concrete steps to improve the economy and reforming the federal tax code.”
And GOP will find excellent fear-mongering soundbites, couch it all in emotion, while the DNC is reading a list.
How about standing up for voting rights? How about calling out the traitors who keep us from voting?
Another Blue Dog? Seriously, Harry Reid?
Is Harry Reid the person who selects DSCC chair? (Honest question, don’t know how the process works.)
Apparently. I think there’s a small committee and they decide, but the Leader has most of the sway.
This is group never felt comfortable with the President and his coalition…they want to go back to pre-Obama…what a shame…but I guess I should not be surprised
they want to court that white racist vote…that white privilege vote….it will be an interesting 2 yrs…you have the GOP/MSM talking about the President being a lame duck…it seems as if the DNC is leading the charge on this..
Everything Tester says here is bull. The Dems have to come out fighting and define the Repubs before they have a chance to define us. Then they have to press on every Republican fault, hypocrisy and deceit and underscore the deliberate acts of sabotage the R’s have inflicted on this democracy. They have to pound hard and keep pounding a simple, powerful message that Republicans are anti-people, anti-success, anti democracy and anti-American. And they have to do this every day and every hour of every day until even the voters in a semi-coma wake up long enough to get it. We need to look for fighters, not policy makers and any candidate who cannot proudly stand up and call himself an Obama Democrat should be quickly and permanently disqualified from running.
DITTO!!!!!!!! Makes me sick to my stomach.
Damn near every Dem paid some lip service to Tester’s list. It had nothing to do with the loss - this is now about visceral connection. And yes - it’s time for Dems to define GOP and show them for the monsters that they are. Seriously - who thinks Jon Tester is going to do that?!?!
Senate campaigns carry a national message. GOP has moved us to a crazy place by the use of emotion. It’s time Dems got in the damned game: For good or ill, what Americans respond to best is strength, even if it’s wrong.
Dem leadership has to go through each and every speech and campaign event of PBO: the entire playbook is there. The problem: PBO cannot do it on his own without institutional support from the party, hammering the right emotions. And there’s is NOTHING wrong with casting the villain when it is due: God knows that’s all GOP has done, and it’s been a winning strategy for them.
Jackie, you’re absolutely right: “make health care more affordable” in the context of a red-stater means allowing junk insurance back into the mix. No stand on health care as a “right”, was there” I watched many a Dem go down with this very laundry list, including Quinn here in IL. The laundry list does NOT connect to the emotions.
Harry Reid said how impressed he was with what Tester had to say.
We’re effed unless we do it ourselves, scream at these DNC idiots until they wake the hell up.
Jackie I read this on Twitter and I wanted you to know I thought your eloquence was beautiful. It is the eloquence Pres. Obama deserves.

This is the link. I see I got a couple spammers so watch carefully! 😻
Pearl just had her 3-year birthday with us. Kasper is uber-busy with his man-cave that he created out of a laundry basket and clean sheets. His newest trick is to take one of my shoes from the living room, take it to the bedroom and bury it in the man-cave. Nickelby is his usually wonderful self.
That is such a cute story. It’s the only one spotted on my hurried glancing through the headlines. I had to not read the comments or I was doomed to doing nothing else. But I always saw one. . .
Except I didn’t know his birthday. I’ve missed all the birthdays this year I thinks. Maybe I’ll bake him a cake! Bear had his first birthday the day of his second round of dog Obedience school. So we shared cookies and dog biscuits.
So Happy birthday Man-Cave Architect!
Did you have the cold we had Tuesday night?
Bear & Sammy had to hold one or two feet up when they had to go out. Poor guys.
Pearl’s a little yorkie girl - 11/12. Nickelby 4/17. kasper 1/29. “Kasper” was Mr. 57’s mother’s maiden name and january 29 was my mother’s birthday - so we honored both our mothers.
Poor little Pearl - she’s still half-bald s she shivers a lot when it’s cold. Breaks my heart. It’s cold and damp but not as bad as you’ve had. Bad enough, though!
This man-cave has been hysterical. A few months ago he knocked over a laundry basket, arranged all of the sheets that were in it, and has claimed it. Toys come and go. he’s very busy arranging them every day. The newest trick, though, is dragging only one of a pair of shoes into the man cave and burying them. Kasper is not a hyper dog - but he is very busy all day long. He’s absolutely hysterical.
Hope you don’t mind if I copy this into my notebook to refresh my memory. I have CRS, you may have heard of it. . .
Of course, Carol!
I started to answer but it turned into a letter!
You and I need a better way to communicate than TOD comments!

Thanks. I’m mixed up on what feed I’m on now. SMH!
I’m reading TOD on the WP App! Faster, but not as fun. :-)
Oops I said he not she. I have what mtmarilyn describes as sometimes. . .

It’s beyond disappointing.
He might have been okay at a different time. I don’t really care if he’s run good campaigns in MT. I want someone who can get Philly to vote in overwhelming numbers. Will Dems again take for granted the urban areas, and again be confused and disappointed when legislatures turn more red? We need to reverse WI, MI, and even IL. We CANNOT win by pretending it’s effing 1992.
It’s an easier year for Dems in the Senate in 2016; but I’m sick of the cluelessness of taking things for granted. Tester says we have to exhibit what we “stand for”. I notice he said “make health care more affordable”. That’s Blue Dog b.s. Stand up for what we have, and the regulations that not only made health care more affordable, but more fair, more humane and more in line with the effing 21st century.
I understand that there’s a certain amount of saving face and unity by re-electing Harry Reid. But there is absolutely no sense that Tester is willing to take on the level of vicious redness that is engulfing our political discourse.
Hi 57Flower, it’s good to read you! 😊
Hard to believe that Senate Dems could be this obtuse. I only hope that individual Dem Senate candidates ignore him.
Well, he has his hands on the DNC purse strings. We need a muscled, disciplined, emotional message that inspires. I don’t see Tester being the right man for that job in 2016.

57—I am smdh over Tester. It seems like the Dems cannot wait to go obsolete. I hope someone at TOD can explain this move to me.
For those of you wondering how much longer the wait for the Ferguson Grand Jury announcement will be:
Two weeks from today is Thanksgiving and I doubt anything will be permited to disturb that.
I expect a decision to be told tomorrow, late afternoon.
Dr. Michael Baden testified today, maybe the final interview.
Not that I have inside info—-could be wrong and this will go until after Thanksgiving.
National Guard is currently occupying 100+ hotel rooms, so it is hard to see this dragging on. However, there is so much I don’t know.
Not to mention that it is cold with snow predicted. This strategy as a police tactic was admitted to me by someone does know what is going on.
My dream response for ferguson would be for every citizen who wants justice for Michael Brown would stay home after the decision is announced.

We don’t deserve this man. He is so COMPASSIONATE and dedicated to serving the people who sent him to Washington twice, but who abandoned him in his hour of need during his last election cycle in office. Despite that betrayal he continues to move forward running circles around the GOP, MSM, lazy and apathetic Dems in Congress, and the CLUELESS public.
“We don’t deserve this man”. I never considered myself a part of America that would be included in that phrase, but I admit I am. President Barack Obama is head and shoulders above any other human being he comes in contact with. His grace, mercy, intellect, compassion, pragmatism, and ability to forgive is untouched by any politician or man I have ever witnessed. He is awe inspiring. He has been on a forwarded moving ambitious journey since day one in the Whitehouse. He has absorbed the greatest amount of disrespect, condescension, betrayal, and racism than any public figure I can think of in the history of this nation (of course MLK would have something to say about that). Watching this man work since the devastating midterms has restored HOPE in me to continue the journey for HOPE and CHANGE.
President Barack Hussein Obama is a shining example of patients, tolerance, acceptance, perseverance, and forgiveness. He is a BIGGER man than I could ever be. Yes, America does not deserve this man, yet God blessed us with this LEADER for the Ages at the right time the WORLD needed him.
Yes, America does not deserve him, but I thank God I have been alive to witness this GENIUS at work. GOD bless America and KEEP HOPE ALIVE!!!!
———————————————————————
I think MLK, Jr would agree how masterfully PBO has stood strong and spiritually powerful despite all the heinous ugliness thrown at him.
Keithinohio is a loyal supporter of President Obama. He does GOTV. He was also banned from TOD a few years ago for some reason I am still not clear on. I wish Chips would reinstate him. Gracias for sharing his comment here.
beautiful comment.
Hi Susanne. :-)
Just had to post this after last nights dip in temp. To -12. Today it’s +12F. 20F jump!
Why is this so big?
the president is now working the list of tasks he was asked to put on hold till after the midterms. it’s a powerful statement of who/what is behind his alleged difficulty in getting things done. get out of his way, congress!
And executing at warp speed.
As the Boy Scouts say, “Be prepared.”
:)
Terrific article, nena. Thank you for posting it.
This has been true since at least 2012. Economy, health care, education are important to Hispanics. Immigration is NOT the only issue:
Harry Reid has asked PBO to delay anything on immigration until he can pass a funding bill. I think that date is Dec. 6th.?
any idea who is the source of this information? Comprehensive Immigration Reform is something that is dear to me
just saw this:
‘ US Supreme Court will not block ruling that struck down Arizona law denying bail to illegal immigrants - @richardjwolf ‘
Good. At least they got one decision right.
This week I am reminded of an essay Nancy Letourneau wrote last year: Conciliatory Rhetoric as Ruthless Strategy. It is an excellent analysis of how people misread PBO because he doesn’t say what they want him to say at times…..how he appears to conciliate, but she explains what he is really doing. I think we are seeing the long term goals of his “conciliatory rhetoric” beginning to show their fruit this week.
Also, I have been watching Harry Reid this past week. I think he is practicing some of this conciliatory rhetoric, but underneath is a ruthless strategy. His appointment of Elizabeth Warren as adviser for strategic policy is a case in point. He works in the background for his ends. Also, I think he and PBO are working together on strategy. One thing Harry Reid is, is a Democrat. He may have disagreements, but he is ultimately a party loyalist. PBO and Kerry also work in the background, but keep their eyes on their long term goals…….we see the fruits of Kerry’s patient work this week.
I know nothing about Jon Tester…..so have no comment on him. I will wait that one out. I really want a change in the DNC leadership, and told them so when I wrote them last night.
A comment from dkos on Tester:
“Tester is not someone I want speaking for Democrats. He’s a hawk, he’s supporting the Keystone pipeline, and if you study his votes he votes with the GOP often. I’ve stated this before, even as I gave him money back-when, and regret. He’s been one big disappointment.
I think this sucks.”
If you study his votes like this commentator obviously has not Tester votes with his own party 88% of the time.
http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/jon_tester.htm
Thanks, DerBingle.
I often wait for Harry Reid’s strategy: about 50% of the time he delivers, and 50% he folds.
paging Joe Manchin……paging Joe Manchin……..
Wonderful!!!!!!!
In addition to the economy in freefall when PBO took office, he had nothing but a series of abomination environmental issues to deal with.
This horrific tragedy, then the BP oil “spill.”
This is the right time for PBO to pursue the items he’s now checking off his “to do” list.
Love this President more every day.
For Vicki, upthread:
Arapaho—thank you but I think this may be a feint.
Saying it will be Monday (Really? And disrupt the schools?)
My guess remains Friday. The traditional news dump day.
On pins and needles, since both days will be upon us before we know it, and you just *know* it will be dumped on PBO’s lap.
Sigh.
OH CRAPPY DAY…THE REPUGS ARE SPEAKING NOW…YES INDEED…THE CONSTIPATED DRAGONS ARE ON THE FLOOR GETTING READY TO FLUSH THIS COUNTRY ANY WAY THEY CAN! THEY HAD BETTER CHECK THEIR PLUMBING BECAUSE WE HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO KNOWS HOW TO USE THE WRENCH…IT’S GOT INK IN IT…AND IT KNOWS HOW TO VETO! I THINK I’M NAUSEOUS!
RUSTY…”OUR GOAL HERE IS TO STOP THE PRESIDENT FROM VIOLATING HIS OWN OATH OF OFFICE!’….REALLLLLLLLLLLLLY…HOW ABOUT CAPPING YOUR BOOZE BOTTLE BOEHNER…YOU GUZZLING WASTE OF FLESH IN SHOES!
I thought his goal was to sue the President…..yet he cannot find an attorney to take the case.
Rusty is a loser.
But the message is powerful, it’s full of “righteous” outrage, it grabs attention, it looks strong. And it’s full of lies.
Is there no Dem equivalent? Why isn’t Harry Reid on the Capitol steps praising his President for doing his job? Is there no way to look strong telling the truth?
Democrats are smart people. I don’t understand why they can’t get this.
I think we expect the Dems to do what they have never done…they have never praised our president…stood with him…the only time that the DEMS stood firm was during the shutdown and the debt ceiling….but like I said…have they ever truly stood shoulder to shoulder with PBO…after PBO makes an announcement about Immigration…Reid makes it public that he wants PBO to wait…
gonna say it now…if they try to dis the achievements of this president…there will be hell to pay…..if they think that things were bad in the midterms…they have seen nothing yet..

Ever since then Senator Obama decided to run for president in 2007, he has been modelling the behavior he would wish all of us and, particularly all Democrats, to follow. He never panicked or over dramatized anything, but patiently, methodically built an organization that was bigger, better and infinitely more effective than the existing Democratic Party. And he did it with finesse and courtesy, never once publicly criticizing the Democratic establishment or embarrassing any individual, no matter how much he was insulted by them. He showed us how to have immense grace under pressure, how to press forward on difficult days, how to shut out the naysayers, how to respect our skills and empower each other. As president he has showed us optimism combined with pragmatism and realism. He has never stooped to the level of his enemies and has tried to seek a common ground, even as he worked against the most massive obstruction in history. After the midterms, he literally went in front of the cameras and taught us how to act- not to cower or despair, but to lift our heads with pride and a sense of optimism and move forward. He told us by his actions alone to give nothing to our critics, waste no sorrow on our enemies, remain undaunted at our prospects and just keep moving forward bringing light and honesty into the darkest hate. If Democrats in this country-and that includes you, Jon Tester-opened their eyes and realized how much this incredible president is teaching us every day we would not only become better human beings, we would never lose another election.
this!
x2!!!
Profound insight, Jackie G, and eloquently stated.
This deserves front-page treatment.
Thank you, JG.
JackieG, you have given a perfect portrayal of our President. The lessons he is teaching us by word and by action will be long lasting.
Beautifully and profoundly articulated in every phrase. I feel the power of his confidence every day.
THANK YOU for all you contribute here, jackieg.
Just beautiful, jackieG. Thanks so much for reminding us of all that. We are down to a precious few role models and heroes in government, and President Obama leads that list by 100 miles.
Jackie, I hope that Chips or NW feature your outstanding synopsis of what I call “The Obama Lesson Plan”!!! Thank you
Hopefully, she’ll read it and share it, widely, Jackie!
#FORWARD Together
bobfr, this is terrific!
Thank you, Bob. I’m honored that you put this in a tweet.
Very well said JackieG
Late to the party, but I must co-sign on this beautifully expressed apt description the character of our dear President Barack Hussein Obama.
Jackie, thank you for writing a beautiful, eloquent post describing what our (US, American) President Obama has lived & breathed for six years. It is what he deserves.
It has come to a sorry pass in the United States in 2014 when men this biasws against democracy and fairness decide the fate of a nation.
There was a time in my years growing up when the Supreme Court was a source of pride for many people. Now it’s a source of shame.
that would have been the warren court. i think i assumed the supreme court would always operate that way, as the last bastion of justice for the american people. now so many members are in the pockets of the oligarchs, it hardly deserves the title ‘supreme’. having said that, though, i’m powerfully grateful for ginsberg, sotomayor, kagan, and breyer. and sometimes kennedy.
There was also a time when the supreme court sided with slavery.
Tell the truth, Jeff.
I was listening to Stephanie Miller’s show this morning and one of her guests made what I thought was a good point… that the court is needed to interpret/rule in situations where the authors are not available to clarify the intent…such as the authors of the Constitution. In the case of the ACA, the authors are around to clarify the intent of part of the law being challenged. Challengers should look to the author(s) rather than the court in this case.
Heard that and thought “Gee, why hadn’t some of us thought of that?” :) Very good point made by that caller.
They may don the robes, but they are lacking the dignity and commitment to office they were sworn to. They should step aside in shame.
THE COURT HAS ALWAYS BEEN POLITICS IN ROBES USED BY REPUGNANTS AND YOU HAD BETTER BELIEVE SOME CASH WAS DROPPED ON THOSE BENCHES…WHY DO YOU THINK CITIZENS UNITED WENT ‘YAHOOOOOOOOOOO’….THE PLAN BEING TO BUY ELECTIONS IN THE FUTURE AND GET RID OF THE BLACK GUY IN THE OVAL OFFICE! REPUGNANTS ARE NUTLESS WONDERS STILL LIVING ON PLANTATIONS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO THEIR BIDDING! PAYBACKS ARE HELL!
This is Too Funny, and Yet Very Accurate.
BBL ;)
That is EXCELLENT!
More updates via RTs in the sidebar …
Robert Gibbs needs to be muzzled….he just said that PBO should pick his battles and Keystone is NOT one of them…
He’s irrelevant ….
That is for sure….it took me 15 minutes to remember his first name.
THIS!!! For someone who has been with PBO since he was an Illinois Senator, Gibbs sure turned out to be a fair weather friend. He has been nothing but a whiner since he started on CNN.
Oops, I meant MSNBC.
The dollars have gone to his head, Linda, if he thinks he can actually counsel the president. Sadly, he has become a joke.
Clearly.
How about the GOP not *make* everything a battle!!!
Ambassador Power asserted the same during her scathing statement, yesterday, at the UNSC mtg on Ukraine ….
Various reports indicate an expansion of Putin’s invasion is expected by Sunday.
Nine days is His slow counting and his total confusion on Facts.
11-05-11 was the day POTUS told the NY/DC Pundits: See you. I am moving FORWARD! Catch me if you can ;)
DC/NY pundits are too slow, lazy and lame.
This is pretty scary and depressing:
Some low level heads should roll!
A reminder of what the GOP think is a FABULOUS idea! Nothing would have ever happened to this man if they had their way….
Hello everyone.
This is astounding:
I’d love to be able to vote for him one fine day!
8 Nov 2025 !!
:)
Definitely!
A belated Happy Birthday JO’B.
Thanks, CM.
Glad you got it. I’ve been meaning to post every day. . .
😻
I luv this!
On behalf of my coal miner grandfather, I love it, too!
Good!
I think amk would like this one:
He does!!
Hee!!
I love this cartoon!
I knew TOD would have Posted this Gem………Fantastic.
I love traveling with PBO, especially when he is winning from country to country. All of the months of fore-thought, planning and execution are coming together so beautifully that will benefit millions (and in the case of the China deal, the entire world).
This is also a big FU to those who thought that he would be their bitch after the mid-term. PBO won both of his campaigns with a very large margin electorally and in the popular vote. Why the haters thought that he should own the failures of others, I will never understand.
Thanks Chips and NW for being our travel guides once more.
Important article ….
Just testing to see if I have been banned. I mostly lurk & very seldom post but if I am unwelcome for posting I will go back to lurking because I like this blog.
We all lurk from time to time. You are always welcome here.
Obviously, you’re not banned :)
I have really enjoyed your tweets today Bobfr.
Thank you Jackie :)
Here’s the latest ….
Don’t you dare bug-out. We’d love to hear what you have to say.
New post.

PRICELESS.
i know this is high on the president’s agenda. compare the cost of higher education in america to the other developed nations, and you can see why so many people are unable to make reasoned decisions in elections.
‘ “College price increases are not accelerating. But they are accumulating,” Baum and Ma wrote. The widening gap in pay between college and high school graduates is more about “declining wages at the lower end of the distribution, as opposed to increases for those with a college education.”
As families continue to struggle to afford college, the Obama Administration plans to introduce a ratings system to show which colleges provide the most value, with metrics such as graduation rates and average student debt. ‘
