One reason that Debbie wants to limit the amounts of debates is because Hillary is the current front runner. By limiting debates this only makes it easier for Hillary to get the nomination because it makes it harder for the opponents to get an advantage. I think Biden knows that he’ll have a big fight on his hands if he runs. Thus why he’s been reluctant to go for it.

For what it’s worth, Mrs. Clinton had the better case. Mr. Sanders has been focused on restoring Glass-Steagall, the rule that separated deposit-taking banks from riskier wheeling and dealing. And repealing Glass-Steagall was indeed a mistake. But it’s not what caused the financial crisis, which arose instead from “shadow banks” like Lehman Brothers, which don’t take deposits but can nonetheless wreak havoc when they fail. Mrs. Clinton has laid out a plan to rein in shadow banks; so far, Mr. Sanders hasn’t.
Love those little darling Sanders supporters. Asked a question after his campaign posted how upset he was that Social Security recipients and veterans won’t be getting a cost-of-living raise in 2016 … my question was what legislation he’d proposed in the Senate to alleviate that, if he wanted to see the rule change. Little darling supporter suggested I go look at the online Congressional website to find out and “my” (I guess) voter apathy was what’s wrong with this country and shameful. Ha. Little darling supporter couldn’t answer the question, pointed me to his “record,” which I reminded littler darling supporter was too little-too late, accused me of voter apathy, called me shameful, and that’s how to swing somebody over to Sanders? I think not.
What I got out of the little exchange was that if you have to force feed your candidate to a Democratic voter, uh, maybe, Houston, there’s a problem.
Jacqueline, several of the BS supporterss were upset about an article on HuffPo that said Sanders could never be President, and a poll which listed HRC as the winner of the debate. . Apparently the comments on the article were pretty brutal. One supporter called Stephanie Miller and told her that he and other BS supporters were boycotting her show, because she was against Bernie. Her show was quite comical this morning. :)

Bernie Sanders has spent 26 years in Congress, but he can’t point to a single piece of legislation he has initiated and passed in Congress that was in keeping with his “Revolutionary” agenda. Poor Bernie and his OWS die hards! It’s pure fantasy to think that a President, and I mean any president, can singlehandedly transform an entrenched capitalist economy into a pure socialist economy. Even the now much revered progressive hero, “The Great FDR,” did not transform the United States into a socialist country. He was only able to reform capitalism by checking it’s excesses.
Any one with just a basic understanding of the nature and structure of American government, with its emphasis on federalism and separation of powers among the three branches of government, should know that no president, or for that matter the people in general, can bring about a “Revolution” without totally abrogating the U.S. Constitution. Progress in America, including progress that may have appeared to be revolutionary at the time it occurred (e.g, labor rights, Civil Rights, women’s rights, and, currently, gay rights), ends up being mere incremental reform that can easily be turned backwards depending on who is in control of any of the three branches of government or any of the 50 state governments.
