BURNS, Ore. — The mug shots of armed militia members arrested Tuesday have been released.
The six men and one woman were arrested while on their way to a community meeting at a senior center 70 miles north of Burns, Oregon, KOIN reported.
Militant leader Ammon Bundy and his followers were going to address residents and discuss their views on federal management of public lands.

There are still millions who agree with him, but their future is not bright.
Media Leave Oregon Refuge After Warning From The FBI
A number of reporters covering the stand off at the Malheur Wildlife refuge near Burns, Oregon, have tweeted that they had been told by the FBI that authorities will offer them no protection, a sign reporters are taking that they need to leave the area.
Reporters have also observed increased security around the refuge.
There are several armored vehicles and what appears to be a Blackhawk-like helicopter outside that Burns airport.
The militia remaining inside the refuge took note of the media’s departure.
“Some media are leaving the area after having been warned off by the FBI. WKTVZ has posted that the FBI told them that they will be provided no protection,” the Facebook page launched by militia leader Ammon Bundy to monitor the events from within the refuge posted. “This is a bad sign. If the FBI is trying to get the media to leave, they must not want footage of what is going to happen.”

It’s also possible the FBI doesn’t want collateral damage among reporters. Every move on their part doesn’t have to have a nefarious intent. On the other hand, if you were one of the armed terrorists at Malheur, it would be time to figure out an exit strategy. Game time is over.

Okay so his wife attended this meeting as well which gives me confidence that it was related to his campaign. I’m re-posting my response to HF2 this morning regarding why I thought he was going to the WH today.
Closed meeting with no agenda item per the press.
This is just my opinion but after PBO’s interview with Thrush I would think that his campaign probably reached out to the WH and asked for a sit down. Bernie’s campaign is so tone death in their righteous beliefs that I’m not sure they realize how their message resonates with actual Democrats and especially those of us that like what PBO has done over the last 7 years. Hillary calling him out at that last debate on the way he has treated Dems especially PBO in 2012 was probably a wake-up call and that interview with Thrush was confirmation that he may be in trouble getting votes from Obama supporters. Watch to see if his tone changes on the stump after today.

In a recent email, veteran Republican strategist Alex Castellanos laid out a vision of Marco Rubio’s path to victory that aligns with the boost-Trump-to-kill-Trump theory:
If Cruz underperforms in [Iowa] and Rubio finishes a strong third or better, New Hampshire may evolve into a race between Trump and Rubio, not Trump and Cruz. Unlike Bush/Christie/Kasich, Marco Rubio has a shot at being the only candidate palatable to the establishment who rides into NH with a little [Iowa] momentum. Rubio’s 3-2-1 strategy to finish 3rd in IA, 2nd in NH, and 1st [in South Carolina] could actually develop.
So why boost Trump? The key is that for any of this to work, Ted Cruz needs to lose in Iowa. If Cruz beats Trump, then Cruz heads into New Hampshire with positive press and could easily ride out a New Hampshire loss to Trump before heading to South Carolina and other evangelical-rich Southern states where he’s likely to do well.
Well, Rikyrah, what are they left with after all those machinations? Rubio has as bigoted and outmoded a world view as Trump and Cruz. He is mediocrity personified with a juvenile understanding of foreign policy and discredited ideas about the economy. He would be a walking, talking disaster for this country.
