I used to take my boys to the fair racing too when they were kids.. as my dad would take me when I was young. I don’t follow the races.. but every once in a while we go - they took me last year for my birthday, so that was special. I love horses & now one of my granddaughters is horse crazy.. has a volunteer job at age 10 grooming and learning to ride, so proud that she and I have this in common.

Hey folks, Anyone watching the CBS documentary “Spymasters, The CIA in the Crosshairs.” It is truly amazing. Take a trip and report back on good dishes, accommodations and welcoming warmth, etc. etc, plus the cost of course. Do it for research, but I’ll tell you from now that I won’t be along on this trip. No way I’m going anywhere where the main method of entrance/exit is via water - what happens if the plane is non-functional for whatever reason!
