This stuff with the FBI literally is horrifying. I don’t know how she fights this. Trump is now saying she is close to being under indictment for things with the Clinton Foundation. What Comey unleashed is mind boggling. Heads need to roll, along with a bunch of agents.
She knew when she started this it would be bad. But how could anyone have anticipated she’d be fighting Russia and the FBI in addition to her GOP opponent? This is so WRONG.

Her light, just like PBO’s, is shinning on all of the roaches that have been hidden. Now that we see them we need to stamp them out and fumigate all of the dark places so that they will not return to eat away at our democracy. You have to know what evil is to be able to fight it.

If half of what we’re hearing about the FBI is true, a wholesale review is in order. It is not the job of the FBI to pursue partisan witch hunts and not the job of the FBI to intrude into politics. Their role is to investigate and forward evidence to the DOJ. Period. If they can’t function properly at this very basic level, then they need to clean house, top to bottom.
That is WOW news.
On another topic: Did anyone else see the PBS report about the Trump brand? The gist and summary of it is that the Trump brand is pretty much dead. It was a rather thorough report; lots of interviews, etc. Couldn’t happen to a better person/family.

For most of this election, I have avoided saying anything about Melania. She clearly did not want to be in this role. But for her to get up there today and talk about the effect of this election on our children and teens blows my mind. Just what effect does she think it has on all those young girls who participated in the Miss Teen USA pageant when her husband walked in on them while they were undressed? What effect does she think her husband’s calls for violence have on our children? I could go on and on. But the bottom line is she has no more sense of decency than her husband.
It is amazing to think Melania does not understand her husband “naughty school boy taunts” (wasn’t that her claim after the Billy Bush tapes came out?) have escalated the bullying and he is the biggest bully of all. However, Trump repeatedly accuses Hillary of everything he himself has already done. That seems to be the Trump family mantra.
When Melania jumped into the fray to challenge the President’s birthplace several months back, and then had the gall to plagiarize our FLOTUS, I decided she is fair game. Like her husband, she lives in a fantasy land where their language does not match their behavior. They believe they are not accountable for anything. She’s another Trump fraud as far as I’m concerned.

I am at a loss for words Bobfr. The entire family is messed up. How is she going to control social media?
It really is the arrogance, Bob. That whole Trump clan seems to think the entire electorate is comprised of idiots. I look at them in disbelief when they appear to think they are better than the Obamas. But then I am starting to feel that way about the entire Republican party. While I was amazed by Palin’s stupidity, and shuddered at Ann Romney’s sense of entitlement, nothing compares to what we are seeing in this election. I am pretty good about moving on, but after this I will never again be able to look at any Republican without questioning what they are like under the veneer, Sad.
I am with you on this FoxfireTX. I see my friends who are Republican who refuse to denounce this behavior and I wonder? Some even call themselves Christian. I just can’t see them the same way and I feel like something has died. It is very depressing and difficult for me.

Sorry I don’t remember where, but the gist of it was that some who have followed him closely are not the least surprised by any of this, he has been a highly political, questionable person for many years going back to his time as an ADA. It surprised me, frankly, because I usually trust PBO’s team to do a pretty good job on vetting. But apparently there were quite a few questions about him when he was after the Clintons previously. The only thing I can figure out is that there was something about him that PBO was impressed with, and assumed his AG would keep him under control. Of course, at that time it was Holder and I wonder if this would have happened with him there. I suspect he would have forbidden Comey from doing any of this going back to July.
YUP. This is scary AF.

Yes, I was just trying to put together a white outfit to vote in on Tuesday. I don’t wear a lot of white, so I have tops but no pants or skirts. I do have a pair of skinny striped pants, kind of similar to the ones Hillary wore in that pic from the 70’s🙂 I’m going to wear a white blouse, my young-Hillary-throwback-ish pants and a pair of white recyclable Melissa wedges. They are not the best for walking, but it’s only half a block away🙂
My girlfriend watched the movie Suffragette with her daughter during the primaries. When I told her I was planning to wear white to vote, she was totally into the idea. She’s planning to wear white also.
I also have a white shirt imprinted with “When they go low, we go high” that I got from my local Dem HQ. I might wear that to vote or maybe I’ll wear that one on Wednesday to gloat🙂 (knocks on everything wood in the house).
O.k. back to lurking mode. I’ve been busy with GOTV and fundraising plus working and other stuff, but I peek in every day.
I have already planned what I am wearing Tuesday when I serve in our food pantry. Quite sure all the older ladies I serve with are all right-wing Trump supporters. Plan on wearing all white. May include a blue scarf.

Trump seems to have negatives, but Clinton gets incessant negative press (which all stems from one thing, that not illegal when she had it, no charges were filed, and it wouldnt even be a blip on the radar for Trump if it was him that did it when you compare it to his other scandals).
