Was looking at some coverage of the effects of the tornadoes it’s really terrible. My heart goes out to everyone affected and I know the President will be doing all he can to assist. Just another problem for this man..seems like his mind will never be at rest!
On the other hand…he looks so fine in that photo ;)

We spent a portion of last evening in the basement due to our weekly tornado warning here in Northern Illinois. My Indy daughter said their tornado sirens have been blasting multiple times per week recently. The storms this year seem extra plentiful and especially deadly. Very frightening. I wonder if Biden will visit Mo. in the President’s absence. President Obama always has so much on his plate. Good thing he is an extraordinary human being who is so equipped to deal with all events in the best way possible.
And—-I did feel a bit sad today when I heard the Irish reporters speculate that today’s events there would play well in the American media. Little did they know that today’s events would receive little to no coverage in the unethical American news media.

        Do take care Dotster…

You are in our prayers dear…

President Obama has already dispatched the FEMA director to Missouri; I think that might be more useful right now than a visit from V.P Biden as the area is in complete disarray…

I’m sure the President will go to Missouri and other affected areas when he returns in a few days…

It’ll also be less chaotic for security and logistic reasons…

May God bless you and all who are threatened by this crazy tornado event…

I’m hoping VP Biden heads to Joplin Mo in the next couple of days to let folks there know that they’re certainly not being forgotten while President Obama is overseas.

NBC has reported that V P Biden has spoken to the Gov. As well and is expected there.

Brian Williams just said that the President had spoken with the Missouri governor this morning, and the governor had spoken with VP Biden just before he was on the air with Brian. I too hope the VP will go to Joplin. I live in Oklahoma and we are now under a tornado watch…and Joplin is expecting more bad weather. In Oklahoma we keep time by tornadoes: May 3, 1999, May 15 2010…..this devastation in Joplin looks worse than what we suffered in 1999.

St John’s hospital is gone, completely destroyed. 4 dead. 2 Pregnant nurses diving under gurneys. The Pediatricians used to send the children with diabetes to see me in the past. I have no way of knowing if everyone is ok. They are forcasting more on Tuesday afternoon and in four surrounding states which includes mine. Prayers for all.
