All I can say is that I am incredibly jealous. That should be me.
Oh what a joy. I am running out of words to describe how I feel today. Watching this all unfold and to be able to share it with all of you is just beyond wonderful. Our President needed the love and he got it. Now he is recharged to fight more battles for all of us. God bless and keep safe our wonderful President and his family. All of them.

Nah .. guys I think its just innocent. I think that she was genuinely touched by his speech and his visit. Look at how she holds his cheeks. It’s kinda like an older adult looking the younger person in the eye.. and saying “I’m proud of you… You are one of a kind.. and above all Thank you”.
I’m sure FLOTUS is ok with it. She knows that POTUS knows that she’s Prime Steak.. and others are 10 week old stale burger patties.

He’s got to be, all of them. Every hand could hold something life threatening, and cameras? I’ve often wondered if it’s at all possible to make an innocent camera into some kind of death ray — here I go again, I think I need help.
But I imagine the SS get daily crash courses about the various types of cell phone cameras and exactly what they look like. But no wonder the SS men have faces like stone, with the fear of something happening to the president on their watch, needing eyes on all sides of their heads. There were many hands holding that little woman upright, and I bet all of them were SS.
As far as these women encroaching upon Michelle’s territory — she knows he’s loved by so many. I don’t think it bothers her in any way except as a danger, as I do.
Is it just me who thinks that Maureen Dowd was sent to Ireland with instructions to protect Clinton’s legacy? Sent as in by Bill himself? Can’t have the Irish thinking more highly of President Obama than President Can’t-Keep-it-in-his-Pants. (Not a Clinton fan)

I loved when the woman did that. I thought that will make for some great photos. To me she completely expresses the love and admiration the Irish people have for the President. If only all Americans would realize what national treasures he and the FLOTUS truly are.
Claire, I totally agree with you. This sweet lady was just overcome with the love we all feel for him. I would like to think that if I ever got a chance to be face-to-face with PBO, I would want to do the same thing. It’s just genuine affection and love as you would feel for family. And that’s how I think of PBO. He’s family to me. My younger brother. But he’s 1000 times smarter and the President of the United States and leader of the free world.

Watching Nora O’Donnell’s coverage of POTUS’s visit to Moneygall. The Priest who discovered the ledger with Falmouth Kearney’s occupation, baptismal record and all that, just told Nora that PBO’s Thrice great grandfather was a community organizer. I guess it’s in the genes.

I just uploaded an earlier interview excerpt from IRISH TV a few weeks ago which is longer but I cut it to highlight and underscore what Nora just stumbled upon. No MSM stateside will build a narrative from it that is for certain. They search only for henagtive things.
These Secret Service agents are incredible. Thank goodness for their tireless work and commitment in keeping PBO safe. There is such a stark contrast between the face of PBO as he is so relaxed, happy and smiling and the very serious secret service agent keeping close watch over his shoulder.

What a Great Reception from the Ireland-ers, If I may use this word. We could feel their Hospitality all the way here In the U.S. This was a good day, and to see all the People that came to see the Obamas. Wowwwwww. I just don’t ever remember seeing a President and First lady receiving this much Love and attention. This says a lot about Our POTUS and FLOTUS. Great People. Great People.

The Dublin paper estimated the crowd at 100,000….the largest crowd the Prime Minister has ever addressed…..More Americans need to understand He means hope to the rest of the world. Others represent fear and going backward….He is the opposite….hope and going forward!

While some in America continually criticize, even to the extent of taking their ‘dirty laundry’ comments abroad (that Dowd woman}, God continues to uplift the Obamas and raise up voices to acknowledge them. Pretty soon the naysayers will be quietened [2012
- at least for a while].
As we come to the end of the day here in parts of North America,
‘Thank you, Lord, for the weather in Moneygall, as well as for the overwhelming enthusiasm shown to this President and his wife. Thank you for the ‘realness’ of President and Mrs. Obama, for their warmth, their obvious enjoyment of the ‘common people’ and for the difference they are making in America and in the world. Thank you also, Lord, for the very positive contribution that Chipsticks, BWD, and others are making to this time in our history. We are so blessed.
Also, please draw near to those who are hurting/suffering for whatever reason (tornadoes, health, or …) and bless, provide, comfort or heal. Amen’}
