      Excellent.
But the sad thing is that none of what you posted would be considered outof character for GOPolitico

And Cain truly scares the shit out of me. After seeing/hearing him, I’m convinced I could run for president. I just need a brotha from anotha motha to back me…

      • November 15, 2011 at 7:34 am

You’re right, Trump, that is the sad thing. Ben can pretty much retire now–Chips does his job for him. By the way, you’d get my vote over Cain any day any hour and you’d be far more convincing on the campaign trail. You know another sad thing? That this guy can run for president in the United States of America and not be laughed out of the room for his idiocy.

          November 15, 2011 at 8:10 am

I read a comment on another site relating to Cain’s interview in Milwaukee and it said something like “God, please don’t let any foreigners see this”. In other words its just too cringe worthy that our country could consider such a man as a candidate for President. I am sick to death of our exemplary President being treated like dirt while truly bottom of the barrel individuals (because they are bullies, or dishonest or pathologically narcissistic) are being promoted as Presidential material. I care too much about our country to take this lying down. Its a slap in the face to all of us that we, as citizens, are considered just some kind of mindless consumers that have no discernment. Well I think its about time to let these manipulators know who they are dealing with. Every day from now until the election where we take more seats in the Senate, take back the House and re-elect our President I am going to think about the hubris displayed by Herman Cain and all of the other GOP candidates. Just signed up for “Women for Obama” and like Michele reminded us in South Africa, when you strike a woman you strike a rock! All of the “princesses” unite.

        November 15, 2011 at 9:22 am

Just why would you be afraid of Cain. He was a non factor from the start. It was a matter of time when the comedy show would run its course. It has run its course. Now we have another one. We will be subjected to Newt for another few weeks. It makes me think that the so called polls are being manipulated greatly. How in the world all of a sudden Newt polling has increased and he was a non factor before the public knew all the dirt on Cain.

It might make sense for a small business to pay its top brass more than it doles out to Uncle Sam in taxes, but what if that company has tens of thousands of employees and billions of dollars in profits? Well, this is America folks. What follows is a list of 25 mega corporations that paid one guy—their CEO—more money than what they spent on their entire federal tax bills last year. The same companies averaged $1.9 billion each in profits—money that was earned, in many cases, by cutting thousands of American jobs.

PBO went golfing this afternoon, so – well, you guessed it:

US drone kills six militants: Pakistani officials (AFP)

15 November 2011 MIRANSHAH, Pakistan — A US drone strike targeting a militant compound killed six rebels in Pakistan’s tribal region of North Waziristan near the Afghan border on Tuesday, security officials said.
The strike took place in Miranshah Bazaar, part of the town of Miranshah, in the troubled North Waziristan region, known as a strong bastion of Taleban and Al Qaeda linked militants.

‘At least six militants were killed when a US drone fired two missiles on a rebel compound in the bazaar,’ a security official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Panetta is really really freaking out with these cuts. He is a democrat acting like fucking John mccain.
Everyday, he makes a statement saying how devastating defense cuts will be.

        • November 15, 2011 at 12:22 am

I’m thinking he is inviting Trouble.

          • November 15, 2011 at 7:42 am

On the other hand, if there is no agreement in the super committee, the default position is more cuts to defense as well as revenue increases. So if Panetta groans a lot, maybe that’s an incentive for the R’s to give a little now on revenue and avoid the bigger cuts. Just a thought.

          November 15, 2011 at 12:55 am

I sent a tweet this weekend to one of the communications guys (I think it was Bill Burton) stating that they might want to talk to Panetta, he’s not on the same page with the President. He’s just giving the right wingers ammunition. And he might be trying to get in tight with the military, but alienating the President (aka – “Commander in Chief”) isn’t the right way to do it.

    • November 15, 2011 at 7:38 am

Yes, imagine interviewing this guy and having to suppress your desire to laugh in his face. Of course, with the state of our media, they might not have known he was making a fool of himself since they do it on a daily basis.

Aloha from Kaua’i, folksies.. I thought you would like to see a pic(at the link) of the especially made gifts for Michelle Obama that she gave to the spouses of the leaders at APEC..

“Crafted by Hawaiian artists with island materials, and “Made Exclusively for Michelle Obama”…

As she hosted a special luncheon on Sunday in Hawaii for the spouses of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation leaders, First Lady Michelle Obama presented each with a diplomatic gift, “representing the natural beauty and rich culture of Hawaii,” the White House said. The gifts were created by Hawaiian artists, who used natural materials from the islands. Female spouses received brooches made from real orchid blooms, with the flowers being personally selected by Mrs. Obama, according to the White House. Male guests received cufflinks made of sterling silver and Koa wood, with an engraving that reads “Made Exclusively for Michelle Obama.” The gifts were presented in special boxes. (Above: The brooches and their presentation boxes)

Another White House executive move: cutting waste

The White House is launching pilot programs intended to further cut waste and fraud in the giant Medicare and Medicaid entitlement programs.
The Health and Human Services Department will oversee the changes, such as testing changes to outdated hospital billing systems to prevent overbilling, administration officials said ahead of a formal announcement.

To show that its broad campaign to cut government waste is working, the White House says the administration cut improper payments by nearly $18 billion in 2011, largely in such programs as Medicare, Medicaid, Pell Grants and food stamps.

Budget chief Jack Lew was also issuing a memo Tuesday ordering federal agencies to tighten their oversight of contractors and grant recipients to cut the potential for taxpayer waste.

So, that new CNN poll, which is bunk, has Romney getting 16% of the liberal vote.
    That is a lot.

Yeah…soon they will have Romney getting 50% of the “Black vote.” CNN is also TRN (The Romney Network).

Truly, these guys have tried everything and they fail miserably at their attempts to construct a doom and gloom meme for PBO. It must drive them crazy that he remains standing firm despite their efforts. I am just so glad that we have twitter to call them out.

And Herman Cain, lord Herman Cain: I miss so much because I’m in training during the day and didn’t get to see him shame himself on that video about Libya until late last night.

This guy has been a joke from the beginning, we’ve known it for ever and how MSM counts him as credible candidate (same as Newt) shows that the joke is on the media.

      • 75 anniebella
        November 15, 2011 at 8:26 am

Here’s the the thing that makes you wonder what the hell is going on here. Every time we hear or read something from the media they are telling us that Obama poll numbers aren’t good, that Obama can be beaten. By the same token when I look at Mitt Romney poll numbers they aren’t good either, worst than Obama, does that mean Romney can be beaten. In most of the polls I see Romney is either tied or trailing Cain, and now Newt. So how can they be so sure that Romney is going to win the nomination. Seem to me these polls are showing that the Republicans voters are not with him and Romney can be beaten. Romney is in a battle for his life, but the media doesn’t talk like that when it comes to Romney. With such a weak field you would think that the media darling Romney would be ahead of the pack, leading in the polls like 36 to 25 over the other GOP, but that’s not the case. And I admit Romney might win, but it’s not a far gone conclusion that he will. He can lose. As for the 16% liberals Romney has, CNN is a network that I no longer have any respect for. It has become FOX Jr, and I don’t believe everything they say anymore. The media is doing all it can to help the Republicans by any means necessary. Even lying to the people.

        • 76 conlakappa
          November 15, 2011 at 9:48 am

Liars are going to lie. It’s what they do best. They cannot stray from the narrative that they built since Mittens began running all those years ago. The only mix is who the current leading challenger is. How the heck did The Newter get considered having his moment in the sun? I don’t know that he’s done anything different in the last couple weeks. Being the most sane clown in the cavalcade still makes one a clown.

If these folks are voting for Romney, they definitely cannot be labeled as liberals. Let’s just call them what they are, Obama haters.

lisa. Because most likely it’s not true. I agree with COS also. The media can’t be trusted specially CNN, and I am including MSNBC also. All of them, they are out to help bring down Obama.
