re y’all watching this s#*!? Cray-cray on the news
“re” = “Are”
Congrats jazziz on #1 :)
If it’s Ben Carson cray-cray on the news then I’m not interested. I’ve had enough of this nut. Time to move on! :)
HF, I’m way past sick of him, however, in the two minutes that I watched he was all over the place. 1st: Gentle Ben; 2nd: Cray-cray Ben; 3rd: Almost let Street Brotha Ben out; 4: reeled himself in and was then trying to sound rational… Ladies & Gents, the Circus is in high gear!
oh dear!
The bit I liked the best was when he said Barack Obama had never been subjected to such intense media scrutiny.
Thank you soooooooooOOOOooOOOOooooOoooOOOOoooooooo much Nerdy!!
Happy to help, Chiparoo. :D
Thank you Legend!!!! :-)
Thank you from NYC_SKP!
Helloooooooooo NYC_SKP, how are ya doing?
Doing very well, thank you! Thinking of the good old times, I came across that DVD of Obama videos that one of our good friends sent out back in 2007- Jefferson something was their username. Good times, great friends for life made through DU! :-)
Great news. PBO is very honest and steady.
:)
Good evening Nerdy, Chips & TOD!
Thanks Nerdy for this post. Every time I see PBO, VP Biden and SOS Kerry together - I feel at peace…that all will be right with the world…with our three hardest working public servants in modern time at the helm….We will feel the void in 2017…
:)
LL - that Billy Ocean song was on my mind last night and this morning - thanks to you! LOL :)
You’re welcome.
OH YEAH!
I forgot about the Popeye’s story! Ugh.
so many fools in gop clown car thought it was very easy to run for, become, and govern as POTUS - they are all learning the hard way;
if only the blabbering lying surgeon had stayed doing what he was re-known for;
I suspect that the West Point lie is not the last lie that this imbecile has told;
next someone is going to scrutinize his professional and academic record - won’t be surprised if some stuff there is also found to be a bunch of lies;
the surgeon’s problem: he became so arrogant when fellow rightwingers praised him for insulting PBO to his face …. but we here know how this story ALWAYS ends, you try to mess with this POTUS, you end up the same fateful way;
“you try to mess with this POTUS, you end up the same fateful way”
Trump will find this out - in the near future
Will anyone be watching the DEM Pres Forum…on MSNBC….
http://www.msnbc.com/shift/watch/democratic-presidential-candidates-forum-561278531682
a chance for OMalley to be noticed..
i’ll be watching it - the first time I’ve watched MSNBC in YEARS!
goood…i look forward to your commentary
it’s not really a debate..seems like more of a forum with Rachel asking questions to each candidate separately. Not sure I care for this format.
hmmm….it only will work if she ask them each the same question
Thanks for the heads up Hopefruit, completely forgot about it.
HF2’s Innovative Therapy for The Addicted.

Step A. Take a drumstick - and just as you’re about to bring it to your mouth, think of the Pope.
Step B. think of the Pope’s eye
Step C. Imagine yourself eating/chewing the Pope’s eye.
Step D. Drop chicken leg right back on the plate.
Step E: Throw away the whole Popeye’s meal
Step F: Never ever eat a piece of fried chicken again.
Addiction cured!
Disclaimer: This therapy won’t work if you’re a cannibal.
Tune in next week for Series II: How to solve your addiction to your smartphone.
Now off to watch the Dem debate!
there is no cure…hahaha
:) truth!
Hi VC - We have lots women ministers in the labor party (left wing) in all states when in power. Not so many with the party of ex-pm Abbott
Hi, TS
Donna …i hope you are watching
Just got home from work but was listening in the car ;)
Hi, D. When you are finished watching/listening, please check your email.
Will do!
:) :) Okay, no rush.
1. In the intro portion, I was yelling at the teevee: Martin, blink! Rachel is not Putin!
2. He took on the DNC. Works for me.
3. Rachel accidentally said Martin was the closest candidate to being a “southerner” tonight … of course, Hillary was First Lady of Arkansas, so …
4. Blink, Martin, Blink!
How many RWNJ candidates could answer Rachel’s questions, in a meaningful way? Hmmm …
i like the conversation that is happening…i like how he took on the DNC…what he did not mention was voter suppression and gerrymandering
We’ll see how it goes. He must know its importance.
I like this format, overall.
yes he must…
My mind keeps drifting to other things, but any mention yet - from either Martin or Bernie - about voter suppression and gerrymandering, as you earlier said was lacking? I don’t think I’ve heard it.
no….
I think it was just mentioned?
ok…
Did you catch the Thomas Merton quote that Martin cited? (Second time I’ve heard him quoted recently - first was Pope Francis.)
“Any appeal that begins from a standpoint of despair is doomed to fail.” - Thomas Merton, as quoted by Martin O’Malley (relating to climate change)
Blink! :-)
Thought he had a really shaky start, but got more comfortable, impressed!
I’m impressed, too, that he recovered! Less stilted now. :)
And he’d prefer to fish than hunt - he’s won me over :-)
Yeah, baby. His mannerisms creep me out a little bit, but otherwise he did a damn good job tonight. Also too Rachel is - so far - good at this format (I didn’t know how that was going to go, because sometimes she acts like a juvenile who’s been asked to “play professor” on school turnabout day, IMHO).
Ah, agree - a little too eager to look emotional when speaking about military stuff in particular. Relax Martin, relax! But I think he’s done well generally.
I was glad to see it.
Now, we’ll see if Rachel can keep herself from gushing all over Bernie. Or from leading him astray, because I believe her candidate is Hillary.
I’m going out with friends for cocktails…and laughing, and toasting my amazing President. Please fill us in later on RM thingy….hope M’OM does well…hugs. Been a week!
what do you think of the forum…the format
I kinda like it Prettyfoot, instead of all the debate to-and-fro gotcha stuff, it’s an interesting conversation - especially for O’Malley who got swamped by the Hillary/Bernie show last time.
yes..i like it as well….
Yes, I’ve been watching, and like it so far. At first i wasn’t sure, but I enjoyed the segment with O’Malley.
I like it, too.
Personally, I like it very much. You?
yes i do….we get a chance at dialogue…i like how RM had a bit of the whimsy as well…and she fact checks them on the spot…
Yes, I’m much more impressed with her tonight, than I usually am. She’s doing fine - so far.
lolol@so far
… unlike Hillary Clinton who said he was all about “big speeches.” Just sayin’.
When Sanders wanted to primary him, Clinton was serving as his SECSTATE. I think she was motivated to see him re-elected.
Oh, okay, I was recalling his FIRST election - didn’t spot the “re-elected” part.
Wow! thanks Chips.. Good that MO’M got that truth in there. BS has been lying about President Obama this whole campaign .. there’s a Vid on it.
And, now he wants to get all lovey dovey? They must have finally looked at Obama’s Poll #s.
I don’t disagree with much of what Bernie says, but spitting out his stump speech at Rachel … not a good look.
My issue with Bernie is the HOW…it is not enough to espouse rhetoric…hell we all can do that…progress comes in spurts …how do you achieve progress…the HOW…is what i want to hear
And you never hear it. In that way, it’s like listening to Trump. (Different messages, of course.) And many others.
wow….Sanders has a very nice smile….i like these whimsy questions mixed in
He surprised me with his answers to those Qs, I had *no* clue he possessed a sense of humor!
i know…that is what i like about the whimsy questions
I think his humor showed through when he spoke about “the emails”
Watching the forum. Rachel is doing well so far. I was impressed with MOM, think more folks will give him a second look. Had to walk away when Sanders started although I have it running in the background. The guy just grates on me:-(
i missed this comment…must have happened while i was getting hot cocoa…
Well, he got that right. Now how about voter suppression?
Bernie: “I’m friends with President Obama, love him … ”
Hillary: Pandering to the crowd, again, similar “isn’t the President wonderful?” one-liners (we’ve heard before), but implies he didn’t go far enough but she will, etc., etc. Not impressed - so far - with this portion.
Hillary takes a long way around to answer a question, but she manages to score points when she inserts a comment

I hope this rebroadcasts tomorrow. I missed so much.
It’s going to be repeated right now I believe.
Why do SOME congressional democrats continue to try to f up PBO efforts to assist everyday ordinary folks?????
