Hi Nerdy. Joy Reid has been nailing it lately. Thank you for bringing her wise words here.

Hey JackieG you are right on the ball tonight. was just posting a comment on the last thread about “Booman’s” site. Has anyone been over there lately? Not good.

Hi Roberta. I’ve avoided Booman for most of the primary season because he’s been very pro Bernie and anti Hillary. Those who comment on his site are even more negative. I certainly don’t need that in my life.

I’ve found Booman himself to be fine – but the other front pager there & many commenters are off the planet Bernie bots

Hi, JO’B. I hope your son is continuing to get stronger. I imagine Father’s Day will be a pretty happy occasion for your family,

It will, jackieG! Yes, he’s continuing to do well – saw the plastic surgeon a couple of days ago, who said “Don’t move much” (doesn’t want his handiwork ruined!) and he’ll see the thoracic surgeon next Tuesday — just working through a few minor issues, now, especially minor compared to what he was working through! Thank God.

Plastic surgeons are very good in their advice – when I had large graft on leg he made me stay in hospital for 4 days cause “If you go home you will walk on this leg and ruin all that has been done”

So pleased all is going well – good news is good 🙂

Thanks! Yes, the plastic surgeon was the one he’d been warned would have the final say on his going home – so far, so good! They’re quite serious that you don’t mess with their delicate work!

Thank God, indeed And also thank good family genes that helped your son go through this ordeal with a positive spirit, which makes a huge difference in a positive outcome.

(Thanks for remembering that little extra!) No, unfortunately, he misunderstood the numbers they’d be monitoring – it’ll be a little while. I can’t remember the medical jargon, but nothing’s wrong – it just takes longer to clear. Soon, I hope!

EV has been the norm for over 15 years now, IIRR. It was done to stop ballot stuffing, which used to the norm in 80’s and 90’s.

Both parties are disasters with their treatment of the refugees – seems to be too many bigots who agree with what they do (Gosh imagine that – just like the US). Dutton is a no. 1 horror story. Turnbull should be better than Abbott but kept too many of his people & too scared to be his own man.

Abbotts bff Credlin is now a pundit and doing all she can to bring down Turnbull. She does the dirty work for Abbott.

A majority of people (80%) would accept refugees in their country, with many even ready to take them into their own home, a global survey suggests.

The Refugees Index, research commissioned by Amnesty International, indicates that China, Germany and the UK are the most welcoming nations.

It also suggests that the most negative attitudes towards refugees are in Russia, Indonesia and Thailand.

The survey questioned 27,000 people in 27 nations.

The earlier limit, I think like 21K, has been doubled, thanks to kenyan. The idea is to lift those in the lower economic strata, not to enrich the already reasonably well to do.

      GE Anjo.

MSM news is so misleading, they basically parrot whatever Drudge splashes up and don’t bother with presenting news about anything the PBO Adm. does in a factual manner.

The rule about overtime doesn’t change — salaried employees are exempt over whatever threshold is in place. The only change the Obama Adm. is making is upping the threshold salary (not sure how long the current threshold has been in effect) before these employees are exempt from overtime.

Raising the threshold will allow fast-food managers to get paid for the overtime imposed upon them since I imagine the turnover and absence rate is pretty high at fast-food places (meaning managers have to fill in when unable to schedule replacement workers).

Last week the MSM misreported on the education guidelines relating to bathrooms issued by PBO — Josh Earnest clearly stated that these guidelines were issued upon the request of various school districts and there were no enforcement provisions. Of course the MSM “reported” that federal funds would be withheld by states who don’t abide by this “rule” (not a rule, a guidance) which handed people like TX AG Paxton a microphone to grandstand.

LAWD! I’m right down the road from this rally in southern NAPA county. The only yard signs I see are for Hillary Clinton. Vallejo is in Solano County but I really can’t see him winning in NorCal because most peeps in this region are well educated and upscale

I’m sure Trump made his supporters very proud when he name the 12 judges he would pick from to fill the SC vacancy if he is elected . Looking at the judges they sure represent white America, from what I can tell there wasn’t a minority anywhere. The KKK and white supremacists must be proud of their man. He is going to “MAKE AMERICA WHITE AGAIN”.
