Thank you SO Much for this. Maya is a force in her own right. Recalling the video that was shown yesterday from the campaign, she, like her brother, possesses great warmth, compassion and intellect. I think her voice is like butter. They certainly both
are deeply committed to improving the lives of others.
I teared up reading the paragraph that referenced her response to all the criticism President Obama is subjected to. That was painful, I can only imagine how intensely that must feel for her. I am glad they are close. I will keep the Ng family in my prayers.
Hey Obamalia, I just read the article and it was brilliant!!!. Thank you so much for providing a link. Reading the article merely reinforced how wonderful the President’s family is and how he and his sister have carried forward the lessons they learned and observed from their mother.I am so glad that the President has close and loyal people that he can be truly unguarded and vulnerable with and have no fear that they’ll ever betray his confidences. Once again thanks for the article
That was so much fun! I will count that as one of my unintended Birthday Gifts. Everyone needs to start the day laughing with President Obama. Thank you so much. Chipsticks you are the best.
That was absolutely fabulous. I had not heard that clip before. Mad me smile today, I downloaded it so I can send it on to family and friends,
Thank yo for posting it,. Chipsticks.
Have a great day everybody.
Thanks for the article on Maya. I could feel her warmth, empathy, strength, energy, love and passion through the writer’s portrait of her. What a testament these siblings are to the women who raised them. I am glad that they have each other.
Obamalia, I enjoyed reading the article on Maya, thanks. I admit I was somewhat surprised by the amount of specific information on her location that was given. Does anyone know - aren’t presidents’ close relatives kept under the radar?
Thoroughly enjoyed the posted video - as much as I did the first time you shared it Chipster. It’s always a pleasure to hear the President laugh. Wonder if he’d appreciate it as much as we do if he were to hear it again?
What a treat to listen to his witty banter!!!
