Almost all of the people from world leaders, terrorists, and troublemakers, to over-reaching journalists, governors and legislators, to false so-called A-A leaders, to businesses that have used and over-charged us, have fallen out of power, influence, and popularity during PBO’s tenure. Karma is a bitch, and she was ride or die for our president. Another way of thinking of this is the bible verse that tells us not to deal with vengeance “Vengeance is mine, says the Lord; I will repay.”; our president withstood, with dignity, maturity and calmness all of the slings and arrows that came his way from all sides and stayed focused, not on getting rid of his political enemies, but on doing the best possible job of improving the lives of All U S citizens. In Grant Park election night 2008, he said that “to all of you who did not vote for me, I will be your president as well” and he has more than fulfilled this promise. My dark humor, however, imagines PBO sitting in the oval with the remaining 13 staffers who have been with him from the beginning and saying as Michael Corleone near the end of The Godfather says, “Tonight all of the family’s business will be handled (or something similar).” He will go on until the end taking care of the country’s business while those who obstructed, destroyed, lied and cheated are imploding and exploding. Their own arrogance and evil ways led to their downfall. PBO will walk away from it all with a smile on his face, a glide to his stride, and to a future of limitless possibilities and we will live lives that are better because he chose to serve.

Sanders is going all-in on the Obama hatred, which is what he truly believes. And the latest thing, is that every election is rigged because of super-pacs outspending him. Okay, he’s blown through money like crazy on states he hasn’t won. It’s now bordering on bilking his supporters of money they can’t afford.
I enjoy commenting on tweets that tout his fundraising by saying, “That reminds me. I’m off to make a small donation to Hillary again. And again. And again.”
I did that to the PUMA’s in 2008 all the time. Whoever woulda thunk that the PUMA’s look absolutely tame compared to this crowd, and that was before PBO had been subjected to unprecedented obstruction and still had massive achievements?

One should not talk to basically millions of voters with such dismissal. Its the way its been all the way through with the far left. The right was filled with blood libel level hatred, the left just dismissed the President and his hard work, character and accomplishments. Wait until the country sees the Obama coalition during the general election. Its going to be a force of nature.
Some black leader introduced BS last night, and sneered about him and that he did nothing about jobs. Is there any point where Sanders is going to speak up? Apparently not. We can now totally conclude that Sanders hates PBO and thinks he can win this election by hating on him. He drinks his own kool-aid: thinks the Trump idiots will vote for him. I’m sick of it.
Yes. Literally. The “Sanders coalition of 2016.” Who don’t show up to vote but are expected to camp outside McConnell’s window by the millions. Electing a decent Congress - not part of the equation.
I’ve been repeating on Twitter that the Obama coalition is strong because of its diversity. The meme from msm lately is to make it sound like it’s only POC. NO DEMOCRAT gets anywhere without POC in this country - but it is also about the diversity. People need to know that this 66 year old white Jewish lady from the Midwest would crawl over broken glass for our POTUS.
This sixty three year old Quaker lady from the midwest would do the same and also for other Obama coalition like-mindeds.
Wouldn’t it have been nice of her to say that we are going to need everybody and my husband and I would appreciate everyone who supported President Obama. Now we know what the Bernie supporters are so nasty. Some of the supporters, I won’t say all.
This nearly-70-year-old white Catholic lady from the Midwest originally from the Northeast who previously lived in the Southeast was just mentioning yesterday how she’d put her hand in the fire for our POTUS, and will never feel that way again (since our VPOTUS isn’t running!). So, here I am, too, with ya.

And Jane Sanders: it is the continuation of his legacy that motivates us. Sneering at it is what is sending Democrats away from you.
Somebody needs to have a “little chat” with Jane. Unreal.
But that won’t stop our Obama coalition from being proud and still prepared!
Think about it J’ob: she has been virtually absent from the campaign for 9 months. Imagine if Michelle Obama had hidden for that long?
So it’s one of two things: either they have tried to groom her and prepare her and she’s clueless; or Sanders & the Sanders campaign believe this b.s. and think they can win their “revolution” this way. Methinks it’s a little of both.
I’m now guessing both think he won’t get the nomination, so they’re in it to push Hillary left (all the talk about “we’ll make it to the convention” seems to mean he thinks he’ll have an impact on the platform, etc.) (anyway, that’s my take). That’s fine, but somebody needs to tell Jane not to get sloppy about it.

I think she doesn’t understand what that means, “the Obama Coaltion”. Its the diverse compliment of voters that supported the President’s policies throughout his administration and are looking for a candidate that will secure progress and move forward on those policies. Clinton has an interest in doing that. Clearly Sanders sees this as a zero sum game. That is why Obama voters will not go forward with Bernie. He is the antithesis of what Obama stands for. I am not talking about policy because there is much cross over. Its just really dumb and arrogant to suggest to voters that they are no longer relevant. Ouch.
But we’re all “stupid”, so said Bernie on Super Tuesday night.
I’m so sick and tired of these people. I can easily support good, strong progressive, left policies. But why, oh why are these far left progressives so insufferable?
I have a theory. Just a theory mind but I think its about the President and his coalition being mutually minded people. Authoritarians are insufferable and they can not abide someone that shares power. Oh no, its top down and screws on all the way with them.

Both the Sanders have proven themselves to be completely out of touch with the times and the zeitgeist. Nobody running with a D after his/he name, which Bernie elected to do, can win a national election without the Obama coalition-NOBODY. The fact that neither of them grasps this tells you all you need to know about their understanding of the the world around them. And let me just ask this-if a man of President Obama’s national and international stature who is in his early 50’s is passe, just what in blazes is an old man of 74 who spouts outmoded socialist ideas from the1930’s? I hope this causes a serious backlash against the Sanders. They deserve it.

I don’t think she meant it in that context. She wasn’t attacking POTUS. She was defending her husband as she was asked basically, why isn’t BS connecting with black voters. What she said was stupid politically but she may be new to all this. I think she sounded more frustrated and defensive than anything. Just my 2 cents.

PBO’s wide-ranging interests and formidable intellect (this article is a must read) and his ability to use them for so many policies and actions that positively affect the world is incredible.
OMG! I just watched the Twitter video in the sidebar of Michelle visiting schools and communities that have gardens and I am in tears. .To see how the children reacted to her (I will not spoil it if you have yet to see it) as well as the adults is just too precious and heart-warming. The Obamas mean so much to so many; their influence will continue to change lives for generations to come.
My way of defending against the current ugliness is to focus on savoring the final days of the Obamas’ days in the White House. Gloom and doom does nothing but bring the spirit down and keeps one from appreciating the positive things in the here and now. My circle is all ready for voting in the primary and the general, and I have lived long enough to know that there is a purpose for everything under the sun and that the only freedom that we have in this world is choosing the things we chain ourselves to. I am chaining myself to all of the things that I have learned about how to live from Barack and Michelle’s examples.
I wonder why he objected to the ACA in the first place; it is nothing like having your own life take a turn for the worst for people to learn humility and charity.
Me too, I wonder if he personally had not benefited by his life being saved, would he still be so against it. It seems people who benefit from ACA still bitch about it and whose friends claim they can’t afford it, it’s too expensive, lie about it and still want something else like “free-as-long-as-I-don’t-get-a-bill” healthcare and not just ANY free healthcare but top of the line healthcare. These people live in a fantasy world but still hate PBO for giving them a choice, can’t be denied healthcare, no pre-existing condition, and kids stay on parents work insurance until 26. One guy who has a pre-existing condition, pre-diabetic, ex-or-current sometime smoker, poor health, prior bouts of gout thinks $400 a year or less than $3K is all he needs to pay for ALL his medical ills.
