Good. I offered the idea of greasing the pan several times to eliminate the rust and then making sure the bottom was greased when you cooked. But it looks like you managed just fine.
Much as the rust was tasty, I’m still going to follow your advice Jackie - a greased pan it will be!

Hi Roberta. I’m down with a nasty head cold today, but it look as if we might get some Spring-like weather next week. Meantime we’re working on Democratic tasks and events. It’s going to be a busy Spring.

Chips, late Spandan has been showing some of the hateful, insulting and even threatening comments he regularly receives from his work on TPV and I thought about all the crap you have to deal with on a daily basis in order to make this site a haven. So, I wanted to thank you and let you know that we appreciate it and don’t take it for granted.
Meant to say “lately,” not late. I am typing through a veil of watery eyes and stuffy nose. Yuck!!

Oh Jackie, I missed Spandan showing that stuff, I must check it out - I can just imagine. Honestly, there’s been very little of that here the last couple of years, once the block thingie got working on the fruitcakes in the early days they stopped coming back - so my experience is NOTHING like Spandan’s - but thank you, you lovely person. Mind you, I *do* have to deal with Amk, so there’s that.

O-ho! Are you one of those (like me) who has to have the laundry folded *just so*? No one in my household can fold *my* laundry satisfactorily - I don’t know what’s wrong with them! :D

This is such a con to get you to do it vc. Mr 99 is brilliant at doing things “all wrong”. Taken me 40 years to realise & accept whatever.
O, not on this issue, TS. Even my mother, when she was living with me, *couldn’t* fold my laundry properly! So I let them do their own, but warned them not to touch mine, even when I inadvertently left mine in the dryer.
I’m sure that’s their quiet response. :D :D
They’ve verbally told me they didn’t see what the big deal was (but since I do, I’ve convinced them not to touch my laundry).

Once a parent - always a parent. No-one, at the end of their life ever says - I wish I spent more time fixing the tiles.
This was so early on in his presidency when they were probably still getting used to their surroundings and he was handling the economy, which was in very dire straits. So grateful his children bring him so many moments of pure joy.

Seems like most of my succulents are in bloom (or bud) right now.
Succulents are amazing — not only are they resilient (from outright neglect), most reproduce with no effort (literally — a fallen leaf on the soil becomes a baby plant in a week or two) and in their active season (winter/Spring) grow astonishingly fast — love seeing their growth every day.
Will post pics of some bloomers later. For now, here’s some sunny ones just for you:

I’m sure OFA is on this, but it’s up to us to educate people who would vote for Satan if he were on the ballot with an R (Republican) designation.
Important not to decry or ridicule these voters, but educating them on what really happens under GOP “governing” will be a surprise to most.
