    Morning.

Goooood morning Jackie, I’m still alive after my rusty roast!

Good. I offered the idea of greasing the pan several times to eliminate the rust and then making sure the bottom was greased when you cooked. But it looks like you managed just fine.

Hi Roberta. I’m down with a nasty head cold today, but it look as if we might get some Spring-like weather next week. Meantime we’re working on Democratic tasks and events. It’s going to be a busy Spring.

Chips, late Spandan has been showing some of the hateful, insulting and even threatening comments he regularly receives from his work on TPV and I thought about all the crap you have to deal with on a daily basis in order to make this site a haven. So, I wanted to thank you and let you know that we appreciate it and don’t take it for granted.

Meant to say “lately,” not late. I am typing through a veil of watery eyes and stuffy nose. Yuck!!

      Indeed, JG! ‘Thank you, Chips-y-Daisy’ x 100%

    • March 5, 2025 at 8:26 am

Oh Jackie, I missed Spandan showing that stuff, I must check it out - I can just imagine. Honestly, there’s been very little of that here the last couple of years, once the block thingie got working on the fruitcakes in the early days they stopped coming back - so my experience is NOTHING like Spandan’s - but thank you, you lovely person. Mind you, I *do* have to deal with Amk, so there’s that.

    GM TODville.

Way behind as usual (and just pulled a “vc,” posting comment on a previous thread). ;)

Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s greatest give to Dems will be to flip House and Senate in November, relegating GOP know-nothings to impotent screechy whiners as Dems enact everything (and more) that the GOP/MSM/Kochs obstructed for nearly a decade.

This was from Wednesday, in response to these TX tidbits:

      :D :D

Man, first time in my existence some*thing* has been named after me and has stuck! Morning to you and your succulents, Arapaho.

        GM VC.

Seems like most of my succulents are in bloom (or bud) right now.

Succulents are amazing — not only are they resilient (from outright neglect), most reproduce with no effort (literally — a fallen leaf on the soil becomes a baby plant in a week or two) and in their active season (winter/Spring) grow astonishingly fast — love seeing their growth every day.

Will post pics of some bloomers later. For now, here’s some sunny ones just for you:

Mentioned I was catching up — if anyone else is in the same boat and has a few moments to set aside to view a video, this is highly recommended:

Yesterday amk and JackieG recalled our state of shock and disbelief after 2014 elections. THANK GOD for Barack Obama, who (because he and Joe Biden are the MOST truly empathetic politicians ever) knew how the Obama Coalition was feeling, delivered a rousing, long-view, strategic message to uplift our battered spirits.

This year will be payback for 2009, 2010 (for some Senators) and the reckless cheerleading of “TeaParty” by the WSSQ* MSM.

    * WSSQ = white supremacist status quo, meaning MSM “reports” everything from “white as default” POV, defending violence and offering zero pushback to irrational statements.

CAMPAIGNS HEAD TO STATES DAMAGED BY REPUBLICAN GOVERNANCE

Amazing how bad a governor has to be - before the media manages to notice.

I’m sure OFA is on this, but it’s up to us to educate people who would vote for Satan if he were on the ballot with an R (Republican) designation.

Important not to decry or ridicule these voters, but educating them on what really happens under GOP “governing” will be a surprise to most.

didn’t the voters in these states wilfully vote for their incompetence twice?
