The kind of person who would vote for Trump is the lowest form of human being in the country. These are people for whom hate is more important than the health and welfare of the nation. He is having a good time feeding his vanity while he has contempt for these same people that he never saw, thought about, or respected in anyway until he decided to run. I think the thing that drives Trump the most is that he dreams of a day when PBO has to turn the presidency over to him. From the time that PBO raked him over the coals at the WHCD and from the time that he called him a “carnival barker” (a designation that has stuck) that Trump has burned to get some kind of revenge. He cares nothing about governing; it is all wounded pride and vanity for him.
His supporters actually cheered when he said in his victory speech that he would get rid of Obamacare. Smh.

All he got out of it was total embarrassment for himself and his entire embarrassing original family, and a new pair of contact lenses.

I early voted today in my home state. My mom and I were the first two voters of the day at this particular precinct. The precinct people were so excited. One lady announced “we have to voters here”. It was about 9:00 and with the number of cars in the parking lot, I expected a few more people, but they belonged to the poll workers. Interesting fact, in 2008 mom worked one of the early get out the vote things that they had here for the primary for the president. This year not one HRC or BS team that I know of in the area. We haven’t got any signs other than…yeah even I can’t type their names here. Goodness knows I didn’t pay attention to politics before 2008, and I may be able to tune it out after January 20, 2025 but I will never ever be too busy to cast my ballot. There was too much blood shed for me to spit in the eye of my ancestors who fought so hard for me to cast my ballot. But you can bet, early voting is and always will be the way to go for me.
True. Democratic voters have to be educated to come out and vote in each and every election — not just Presidential ones. That’s how we have ended up with a Tea Bagger House which will not change for years to come.

This Clinton victory in NV is pivotal. It is now likely that there will be 11 primary victories out of 13 contests by big margins in the next two weeks Feb. 27 through Mar.8, sewing up the bulk of the delegates needed for the nomination. Bernie’s grab at a hostile takeover of the Dem Party with electoral catastrophe in the general election is mostly finished now.

Hello lynn - prior to PBO my most admired person was Nelson Mandela. He was, for so many years a global treasure. Almost the only person who could have avoided a civil war in South Africa. President Obama is that kind of man. He will be forever loved.
